Fyi, Flash Fitness is only $125 a year. 12 mile and Stephenson, Madison Heights. Its on Stephenson north of 12 mile, west side. Look for the yellow sign. I just joined yesterday. They allow chalk and deadlifts.

Used to date a girl who lived right by there off of 14, it never was my first choice to shop.

I miss the people I know there and family. Not so much Detroit itself. If I was to get out of the military and ever move back, I'd want to live and Toronto rather than Detroit, and I'd still be close enough to drive there.

Burton here man. My sister works at powerhouse and it's a kick ass gym. I work out at snap in grand blanc but I'm currently on a cut. Also I lost my job so I have to take a month off the gym until April comes when I can get my job back how's ketterings gym? / how much?!

What's the story with that Flash Fitness? What's it like inside? I see it all the time. Mostly when I eat at Col's across from Detroit Donut.

I live between 12 & 13 and Campbell & Stevenson.

We are neighbors, lol. It is not huge but except for not allowing chalk, they have everything you need. Next time you are there, just walk in. They let me the first time. For $125 a year, its the best deal around.

Fitness 19 at Rochester Road and Tienken. Its like 15 a month. Lots of equipment but not very luxurious.

I was thinking either this one or Lifetime at Avon/Rochester. But F19 is darn near walking distance from my apartment and $15/month is lucrative.

I go there almost every day. Never have any issues. I am usually in and out in a hour. 25 sets and 10 min of cardio.

If you haven't already, you need to get some Dibella's subs. They are phenomenal. Best chain subs I've ever had by far. And I am picky about buying sandwiches.
