The Best Wife in the World!
I've seen some threads started on here praising their wives... And all of them, I really understood why thy started them and agreed with them that they have great wives!
My turn...
I turned 40 this year. I really didn't take it well at all. I really never thought I would last this long. If you knew how I've lived my life, you'd be very surprised I lived this long, because I intentionally lived my life NOT to live this long.
Cari (my wife), also known as Carigrrl decided she was going to make sure I had a great 40th year. She really motivated me, she's even responsible for me deciding I was gonna kick 40 in the ass...
Here's the year she's given me...
Skiing in January... Ok, skiing is not my cup of tea and she had to drag me. We went to Angle Fire and I learned just how fat and out of shape I was. That's when I knew it was time to change. I got on skis, and within 2 seconds (literally, I'm not exaggerating), I knew I needed to get my body together. I did enjoy doing donuts with my 4X4 Durango in the snow and walking on frozen lake (I'm a Texas boy, don't get that here)
April, we spent the weekend at the track. OK, this is every year cuz we have season tickets, but she made it fun!
May... She took me to Cancun for my B-day. It was a suprise and she invited my friends. It was one of the greatest parties I've ever had.
June... She went to Jamaica with me. I've always wanted to go to Jamaica. A fantasy of mine has always been to quit and go to Jamaica and open a beach bar. Not only did she go to Jamaica with me, she went to a resort that only a woman that loved her husband would go...
November... Back to the races, Damn I love that women!
Tonight... She went to the Australian Pink Floyd show concert with me. The night before Thanksgiving!!!! She wasn't a floyd fan (but I think she is now), BUT, the night before Thanksgiving!!!!! She freakin rules. And she drove for me!!!! BTW, if you're a Floyd fan and haven't seen Australian Pink Floyd, do it! They are great. I saw Floyd in San Diego, and they're not going to tour again, but Australian Pink Floyd does a great job of keeping it going!
Oh, and she works out with me!!!
Anyways, I just had to write just how much I love my wife and how much she's made this 40th year the greatest year of my life!!!!

It's so cool when husband is not afraid to tell the world how he feels about his wife, just don't forget to tell her. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for sharing.

It's sweet of you to post a thread about your love for her. How romantic It's a lovely picture of you both too.

Great post/story, beautiful wifey, and looks like a nice beach! Always like to read happy stories about people proud of their spouses and relationships. However, I'm not crazy about those trunks you are wearing.
j/k You both look great, but I still like her suit better!

Best fiancee' in the world!!
I feel like the luckiest man alive! I am engaged to Titania and I have become her
workout partner and life partner as well. I love to cook all her meals and keep her muscles well fed and well loved too. She is truly an inspiration to me, and I am overjoyed to spend all my time with her living, loving, and laughing!

Good stuff, man! I, too, have been incredibly lucky. My girl agreed to relocate and leave a job that paid her more than mine. It was a leap of faith - and not the first.

I love to cook !
When I first got here to Aussie land, poor Titania was "cooking" the most god awful "muscle mush" out of some very nice ingredients. She was totally burned out on cooking. Since I got here, I have kept using her same ingredients, but changed the preparation and presentation a bit so she gets more taste and variety in her food. Now, she purrs like a kitten, and can spend her time on stuff that she likes to do....like making huge powerful muscles and making wonderful music. I love to make her as happy as I can!
Sorry, I don't have a brother for you. There are lots of men who love to cook and I hope you find one that will do that for you too!

ROFPMSL @ 'god awful muscle mush'!!!!
It looked freakin awful but it tasted much better than it looked!!! Seriously though, your preparation is so much better and more appetising!
*Titania purrs!*
.....and these days, we make music together!! Even if our first release together is slightly nuts!!

Try going to the restaurant where your son works and wear a sleeveless top and go into the kitchen to talk to your son. Maybe there is a cook in there that will notice your big arm muscles and ask you out!

As you all can tell, I'm actually the luckiest wife in the world. I can't believe he did this post or put the pic up. I'm so blessed it's crazy nuts.
It was fun reading your comments and seeing other happy people! Congratulations to everyone! and... on the engagement Titania! A man that can make you purr is a keeper for sure. And Late I hope you find a slightly softer "silent type" soon. LOL However, mine was in front of my face for 4 years. So you might look around, maybe it's finally the right time and you just don't know it yet.
Anywho, I couldn't not say anything, but I love him more than I can say. <happy dance>
