    Unhappy Why do my balls hurt?

    Recently after doing squats my balls started hurting. Not really hurting but they felt unconfortable. I can still lift the weight but it feels weird. When I got home I felt my testicals to see if there was anything weird but they feel normal. What do you think is wrong?

    Well, maybe the squats are causing blood to rush to your testicles? It would be like the equivalent of blue balls. Maybe you just get turned on by doing squats. You're a squatophile.

    Anyway, I recommend rubbing one out the day you do squats from now on.

    I found this on a hernia info page:

    "Indirect inguinal hernia: An indirect hernia follows the pathway that the testicles made during prebirth development. It descends from the abdomen into the scrotum. This pathway normally closes before birth but remains a possible place for a hernia. Sometimes the hernial sac may protrude into the scrotum. An indirect inguinal hernia may occur at any age but becomes more common as people age."

    Basically your guts fall into your balls. I'm not a doctor so I don't know if you have a hernia or not. I don't know if it is supposed to hurt or not either, but if it doesn't get better quick, get it checked out.

    I just looked up inguinal hernia and I don't think that's it. I don't have any lumps at all anywhere near there. It looks and feels the same as it has for as long as I remember.

    I don't think that I strain too much. I don't even do a one rep max.

    I've had an inguinal hernia and no it doesn't make your balls hurt. Mine wasn't so bad that my guts were all in my sac, just a bit of a buldge. Nothing serious but I was out of the gym for about 7 weeks after surgery :\.
