    Arm wrestling

    I'll say it again and again, don't ****ing arm wrestle. Too many injuries from it

    All my friends want me to do it with them to see just how strong i am, but i always tell them to go **** themselves, I ain't doing that ****.

    Just say no to it.

    Yeah tell me bout it, last weekend at a bar, I was their with some friends, I wasn;t drinking but I had a ShortSleeved T-Shirt on and one buddy came up to me and asked for an arm wrestle, I said no, he said why, I didn;t answer, then he proceded to try to start a fight, ohh good thing I wasn;t drinking.

    Yah I noticed when I arm-wrestle with big fellows my forearm hurts dramaticly..i guess its the bones or something maybe the tendons it feels awful i cant do exercies correctly for a few days after.

    my last arm wrestle.. and i say last coz it wont ever be happening again, resulted in nearly 2 weeks off lifting due to straining some tendon near my elbow..
    i laugh home some ppl actually consider it to be a real test of strength

    Arm wrestling against a good opponent is like a 1RM attempt on an isolation exercise for the rotator cuff. - NOT A GOOD IDEA. And if the opponent is better than you, think of it as trying to lift a weight that is too heavy for you. Also not a good idea.

    It's not only about strength. My friend was a state arm wrestling champion at 170lbs. He arm wrestled a 300lbs guy that could bench 500lbs and beat him within 5 seconds.

    I am living proof why not to arm wrestle. I arm wrestled my state champion friend and tore something in my bicep. I was in constant pain for about a week. I couldn't even push open a door. I had to take 6 months off from lifting weights. My bicep still acts up once in a while.

    I pulled a bicep and my friend sprained his wrist. It turned out to be nothing more than a static hold at 100% intensity for 5 minutes and ended in a draw, not good.

    All my friends want me to do it with them to see just how strong i am, but i always tell them to go **** themselves, I ain't doing that ****.

    What really is the point in armwrestling?

    Its a typical macho gay little game ( sorry no offense ) that proves nothing at all.

    If you all wanna do something tuff ( the arm wrestlers that is )then you could always start training martial arts. Taekwondo, MMA or shootfighting or whatever. Start sparring, knock the crap out of each other for a few friendly rounds. Now thats fun. Not armwrestling LOL

    Pfft nothing wrong with arm wrestling! I've done hundreds and never had a problem at all. I dare say the reason some people get injured is because they don't warm up at all, it'd be like going straight into a heavy set of deadlifts with no warm up - not too intelligent!
