I plateau on 5x5, now heres my idea, tell me if its okay
So, i basically figured that once i reached my original 5rm on 5x5 (intermediate), then i would begin a hypertrophy program. After a copule months of this, i would start another strength program up (probably 5x5), this time able to beat my maxes again.
Would you guys recommend a hypertrophy program like "hypertrophy whatever", or "HST" ( i think its hst), or just a plain split? If so, i would prefer to do a 4 day split, and in this case, what would a good split look like for 4 days per week?
thanks!

shouldn't the weight be less, cuz 5x5 is only 5 reps, whereas you're doing 8 reps this time.

goal is mass - but I heard that you need to be able to lift stronger in order to not plateau in mass building (you cant be curing 30 lbs if you want to keep constantly growing), so I figured I would do 5x5, but I feel a serious wall im about to run into, so maybe I should switch up to hypertrophy routine for like a month, then come back.
