I heard it was a 1 year suspension and Milos got a year as well. If it's a lifetime ban that's pretty weak.

The original suspension was 1 year and it was supposed to end the day before the last qualifier for the 07 Olympia. There was an IFBB meeting AT the '07 Olmympia that decided to band Lee for life...
That was the untold story of the '07 Olympia because too many goons were wrapped up in bashing Jay to give a damn that the best BBer pound for pound and inch for inch... quite possibly of ALL TIME (yes even over Ronnie Coleman) was banned for life.
Sure Lee may not have the awards to prove it but I can guarantee if you stretched his frame proportionally to match the height of the other Pros you'd have folks walk off stage... Lee is just THAT good!
I think the lifetime ban was just insane and it speaks volumes for the IFBB. If they can't handle their Pros having a mind and opinion of their own... well... that just smacks of weakness.
Reinstate the man already would ya! FFS let him compete and stop being such mangina's over it.

Its bad enough the IFBB has rigged judging (well it seems at least)...but now they've band one of few bodybuilders who pushes the sport in the right direction. It makes me sad to see pro bodybuilding in such a bad state...
