this is an excert from kevin trudeaus book, talking about tap water

"all tap water is poisonous." "all tap water is loaded with chlorine and chlorine by- products, chlorine scars your ateries and along with hydrogenated oil, cause heart disease..... most tap water also has fluorine, which is one of the most poisonous and diseases causing agents you can put in your body..."

so is he right or wrong.......

let me guess, A) he provides evidence for this discovery or B) the drug companies hide the documents/evidence and kept the secrets b/c they want people to remain unhealthy. The only reason this fraud can sell stuff on infomercials is b/c he books are under 'free speech' protection.

yeah he does go on and on about corruption in the FTC and FDA and all that stuff but some of the things he says makes sense...

yea tap water does contain those harmful substances... but their in very small trace amounts. Get a filter, and it will eliminate some but not all of the harmful agent sin ur water.

the flourine is in amounts that are enough to help your teeth, not to be poisonous to your body. If it were that big of a deal i think we would hear about it a lot more.

I've had experience with a **** load of water filters. Then one day I picked up a Clear Flow faucet filter at Target. Best thing ever. The whole unit is disposable. It cost 20 bucks and filters about 300 gallons of water, which is a lot! When the filter is kaput (a red flashing light will come on) you just unscrew the unit from your faucet, chuck it, and buy a new one. Go to the Target website and check it out.

I havent heard anything about bad water, at least here i live but i do use a Brita Water Filter, really good and you can actually taste the difference.

I dont know about that but he has that dumba$$ infomercial saying that you can cure cancer, aids, and all kinds of other **** with "simple remedies". Yeah thats why thousands die from it right... and tap water being poisonous, come on now, really.

The quality of your the water coming out of your tap depends on where you live and where the water comes from. Is it a shallow well, deep well, resivoir, lake, etc. Your question is like asking how good is the air that we breath? It depends on where you are. You probably breath in more contaminants at the breakroom at your job, or in cross town traffic than you will ever get from your tap water though. Every city and town has staff that monitors that kind of thing and will institute "boil water" orders if readings of anything are anywhere near harmful. If your not familiar with "boil water" orders as we here in rural Missouri are, then yall probably dont have water contamination problems. Dont worry yourself just to worry!

I'm not going to buy bottles of water at �1+ each, no way. Tap water does rightly. Boil the stuff and let it get cold if your worried.

Tap water is safe to drink in the sense that there are no life-threatening organisms in it. But with all the flouride in it, long term effects on your body are questionable. If you don't like the chlorine taste, get a filter and your good to go.

I was in the army they actually give you this purifying packs with chlorine tabs etc so you can drink the water you come in contact with

chlorine kills the bacteria

not sure about the fluoride tho
