training calves

is it best to train my calves using high reps and low weight or would it be better to lift heavy with low reps.
i need to add some size to my calves not worried about definition.
i think i read that its better to do high reps because the tissue in calves is dense similar to abs.
not sure though

I gain better at higher repetitions.

Try both.

its all up to the person...

i like heavy weight...with half reps(when i cant do fulls) at the end toward failure

i start light, couple sets of 40-50 then go heavy
