    Muscle milk pre workout?

    i was thinking about trying muscle milk as my pre workout shake before wrestling practce

    practace is usually 2.5 to 3 hours long and is VERY intense.

    what do you guys think about takeing muscle milk pre WO? and how long before should i take it.

    uh, i guess its fine. but drink it at LEAST an hour b4 hand. muscle milk is very heavy and a casein protein (digests slowly) which is a good thing cuz ur wrestling practice is 3 hours long. But you might end up hurling if u drink it right b4 wrestling becuz muscle milk is heavy, is so are all other protein shakes.

    you'd still be better off taking it after, its a really slow digesting protein with fats, so it'll weigh you down

    drink it 1.5 hours before. a lot of the fats are mcts which are used as quicker form of energy so those are good. long practice, so the casien protein is good. all around good choice and it hsouldnt weight u down if u drink it early enough

    ive been drinking 2 scoops MM with a 1/2 cup oats about 1.5 hours before practce and practce is goin real good

    ive also be takeing xtend before after and durring our one water break(how ever long this lasts) and I like it alot
