depends on the sport. But most likely play.
Although i wouldnt want to be an F1 or Rally driver, even though it would be cool I would probably kill myself doing it

Play, easy choice. I rarely watch sports on tv or go to sporting events.

Then why is spectator sports such a popular thing now? I mean seriously? why do guys go crazy over football season? I'd much rather get all my buds and go out to a field a play some real ball.

It depends on the sport. If it's just a pick-up game of some time I'd love to play. I also enjoy watching too, but NOT car-racing!

Hmm well, I am an idiot that watches NASCAR, that will not move off the couch when the Steelers are on, that thinks the first day of football season outta be a National Holiday,same with the Daytona 500, and must have beer to accompany all of these things. I don't play sports, I was a dancer/cheerleader and you don't see many "pick up cheerleading events out there.
ETA: Yes, I am scared of catching baseballs thrown by my husband

i like to play. i don't like to watch cause most of the time its boring. the only thing i watch is the super bowl, pro bowl, nba all star week end and the nba championships. i don't watch college games. i also watch boxing. probably the most exciting if your watching 2 good fighters.

kinda depends on the sport, but generally playing is way more fun.
in some cases though, like huge tackles in footy, you are kinda glad you are on the couch at home watching.

I think its the same reason why we love colemand swarzenegger and bodybuilding shows. Of course we love to work out, but its also fun to watch those who are the elite of the sport.

I love sports and I watch sports-
I love sports but hate some. I hate basketball, baseball, tennis and golf. I love every other sport and billiards and bowling are NOT sports. They're gay and lame. I don't play sports, I watch sports.

Depends on the sport and other variables.
But then there are some I could never bring myself to watch as long as I have the remote, such as NASCAR. I'm sure it's cool to some but....No Thanks.
