Vacation

So, I will be traveling to Europe for 2 weeks on Sept. 8th, and most likely won't be able to work out. I will be taking some Sesathin, doing some cardio where I can, but am a bit worried about losing my recent muscle gains. Anyone have any tips/tricks/advice on what they do when not able to get to the gym for an extended period?

Shouldn't be a problem, just attempt to eat clean, maybe some pushups and situp in the morning before you get going.

It's good to take some time off from the gym anyways, 1-2 weeks some people take off every so often, works wonders.

The minimal amount of muscle you might happen to lose would be easily regained once you start lifting again due to a re-energized and well rested body, assuming of course that you are training pretty intensely now. Just try to keep that diet in check.

One thing that will help is the massive amount of walking you will do in Europe (site seeing, shopping etc.) much more so than in the US. That will help in burning calories. Also take advantage of the good food you will only be able to get in Europe. Enjoy the culture, and enjoy the food that goes along with it. If you are not competing, no need to worry so much. When i was living in Europe, I was able to endulge a bit more than usual because of the constant walking. And I lost bodyfat while doing so.
Also note that portions of food are a bit smaller in Europe than the US. This will also help.

On a side note, I have never found Ice cream here in the US like I did in Italy. You won't be dissapointed!!

Just make sure to eat alot. People tend to walk alot more when they're on vacation; eating lots will hold your muscle mass.
