    How Often Do You Work Each Muscle Group?

    I work each muscle group (chest, tricepts, bicepts, shoulders, legs, back) 3 times per week is this to much or to little what should i do?

    Once a week for everything except abs..three a week for abs.

    Mon - Chest/Abs
    Tues - Back/Shoulders
    Wed - Abs
    Thursday - Bi's/Tri's
    Friday - Legs/Abs

    Sometimes I do just legs on friday and abs on saturday. But if you want gains, you have to let your muscles rest a week.

    wow this is news to me i never thought you had to weight more than 24 hours for your muscles to rest before you worked them again......

    It's good to do each muscle once a week ,unless you really want growth and are ok with the risk of possible over training, then you can do one group like chest or legs twice a week but its not wise. Ab's 3 times a week is a good idea if your skipping everyother day. Make sure not to do ab's back to back, they recover fast but like all muscle they do need time to recover.

    yeah if your training the same mucles 24 hrs later thats realy bad and your probably overtraining which is why your not gaining weight like you said and in most cases people would have lost weight
