I've been putting a lot of effort lately into getting into shape; but I've found myself faced with a certain obstacle - my knee; specifically the right one. I enjoy running quite a bit, but I am flat footed, and even worse I don't have any shoes but basketball shoes (I know, bad shoes to run in) My question is mainly though, why is it only one knee that hurts? How do I prevent this twinge in my knee from turning into something more serious? I need to run, I NEED it, I dare say I am addicted to it and am experiencing withdrawal symptoms. How do I go about running without my knee hurting and moreover; how should I balance my running out through the week?
