If your actually serious about bodybuilding and compete or plan on it come here.
Ask questions, Get answers that hopefully will help you from everybody. Hopefully this can be a actual nutrition, weightlifting, and advice giving forum. Instead of the crap threads i've seen here lately on this site.

Its going pretty good. Haven't been on here that much lately. I just would like to talk to people about the nutrition ideas, and techniques they use in the gym. How are you?

What do you think about incorporating one day for speed and one day for strength, into a bodybuilding routine?

Depends what your training for. If i were training for a sport like football, then that sounds good, but not for bodybuilding.

Yeah, alot of people train so hard that their bodies need a break. I would feel horrible if i did that though. I feel ****ty if i miss 2 days lol. I would just change up my rountine more so then taking a summer break off.

When i trained to take those pictures i was doing a 2 muscle group split in under 40 mins, They responded well with shorter breaks in between sets and giving them enough time to rest after a back and chest day.
Simple stuff...

Basketball season starts this Monday, so I was going to switch my training up for it until it's over. I plan on competing when I'm older(17-18)

A basketball/competitive bodybuilder I've never heard of the two combined in one person. Usually its football and bodybuilding. Your going to lose some muscle during the season. IF i were you i would try and consume about 1,500 more calories then i consumed before basketball season to try and keep my size since your going to be doing alot of cardio. But yeah you need quick speed to get up and down the court. I dont know if i would add any cardio to my rountine since your going to be doing so much cardio during practice. I would just try and hit the weights while i were in the gym.

My basketball schedule is going to be...Monday and Wednesdays, 6PM - 8PM.
I was also planning to cut during this time..(my profile pic is old)..With the cardio from those two days, I could just add one HIIT day into my routine and that would consist of 3 cardio days..think I could do it? (with diet in check)

11% under. I'm pretty sure I'm above 15 right now. It was my first bulk and I knew where I made mistakes so I'm going to be way smarter next time.

What would everyone's opinion be on going on a slightly modified ketogenic diet while preping for a competition? Good or bad?

I haven't gotten the diet from the guy that's training me for the contest yet, but what do you think of keto diets in general?
