Post Hunter's "Who Cares?" Epistane Log

    Short and sweet.

    Height:5'5
    Weight:151

    3 Lifts (One rep max)
    Bench:205
    Deadlift:315
    Squat:305

    Goals
    Weight:165 lbs.
    Bench:225
    Deadlift:405
    Squat:350

    Day One:
Had to work before workout today which is out of the ordinary for me and may have contributed to lack of energy.

7:30am Muscle Milk, CoQ10, Fish Oil, Vitamin C

11:00am Roast Beef and Cheddar on Whole Grain Bread, Alive Multivitamin

1:00pm Epistane 10mg, Milk Thistle, Saw Palmetto, Grape Seed

    2:30pm Muscle Milk RTD

Gym: Quads/Hams (Will list last set only) 4 sets per...

    Leg Press:630x6
    Machine Front Squat: 450x6
Leg Extension: 120x12 followed by individual 80x6
    Str. Leg Dead: 135x12
    Squat: 185x6
    Machine Leg Curl: 80x10
    Abs

Abnormal workout for me. Usually I'm more free less machine but I was at a different gym with two new workout partners. I can say that my muscles seemed to fatigue ALOT less quickly than normal. Doubt it had anything to do with pill 1.

    Day 2

8:30am Epistane, Milk Thistle, Grape Seed, Fish Oil, Saw Palmetto

    8:45am 45g Whey, 200mg Caffeine

9:00am Gym (Again, listing last set only)

Bench 175x2 (weakest lift by far, felt good today but repped out too early)
Incline Dumb 65'sx8 (again, normally put up more but pre-fatigued on bench)
    Flys 45'sx8
    Machine Press (Trip Set) 150x5, 120x4, 100x6
    Pullovers 95x6
    Tri. Bar Cable Ext. 145x6
    Dips w/bodyweight 15 reps, 4 sets

    10:15am ABB Mass Recovery

I would say that mentally today I felt really good, however I notice that whenever I alter my workout or add in new supplementation I always seem to have a little more get up and go than I usually do. I know theres no way I could expect to see anything after only 3 pills.

If anyone out there has any experience or thoughts on the leaning properties of Epistane let me know. Im wondering if those who leaned out were restricting calories and taking this for strength preservation or were noticing a decrease regardless of diet.

12:30pm Steak and eggs, toast, fruit

3:30pm Vietnamese bbq pork, brown rice, veggies

4:30pm Epi, milk thistle, grape seed, saw palmetto, fish oil, taurine

7:00pm 3 eggs, 4 pieces turkey bacon, 2 piece low carb toast

    9:00pm 1/2 a pint of Ben N Jerrys, I screwed up there.

Pre bed: Glusosamine, Zinc, 25g whey

Personally I would save your milk thistle for either before or after you dose, and not take it at the same time as your Epistane. Kind of defeats the purpose no?

SAMe is supposed to be more effective than MT as well apparently.

Thanks Neo, I hadn't considered timing the milk thistle, but I will certainly take the advice. What exactly would staggering the milk thistle dose do in terms of the Epistane effectiveness? Or does it just make more sense to induce cleansing after each dose because of the methylated delivery?

    Day 3

7:00am Epistane, milk thistle, saw palmetto, fish oil, grape seed (didnt
see Neo's post till after this)

    7:15am 45g Whey, 200mg caffeine

    7:30am Gymtime (Last Set Only)

Wide grip pulldowns 150x6 (Just like yesterday felt a little weak on first exc.)
    Barbell Rows 175x8
    Nautilus High Row 230x8
    Barbell Curls 85x6
    Seated Alt. Dumb Curls 35x8
    Rvrse ez curl 45x6

    9:00am 45g whey protein

I woke up this morning feeling semi pumped. This is abnormal for me as I always feel pretty flat in the morning until I've had protein at least. I have been sleeping extremely well and having some weird ass dreams. This is somewhat of a change. When I first started taking zinc pre-bedtime this happened but its been awhile since the dreams and sleep were like this. Again, Im not chalking anything up to the Epi as of yet because today is only day 3.
I would like to clarify some of my weights and sets. I have only recently come off of a MAX OT type program and started going higher in reps to encourage growth as opposed to gaining just strength, so if the weights look really low, it's because they are. But thats what this is all about right? A true evaluation of strength gains made on Epi.

    11:30am Cottage Cheese, Banana

1:30pm Lean Body Gold Bar, Ostrim

3:30pm Epi, Grape Seed, Fish Oil, Saw Plametto

    4:45pm 35g Whey

5:30pm Chicken Breast, Collard Greens, Whole Wheat Roll, Pineapple

    6:00pm Milk Thistle

So far so good. I seem to have some extra energy and want to fight all my instincts to not work out out tommorow and do it anyway because I feel so good. Dont worry, Im going to take tommorow off for sure, no point doing all this just to overtrain. For tonight I will probably eat another chicken breast with greens and kill a shake before bed. I will update tommorow with diet and noticeable effects.

    Angry

    Day 4

My sleep quality definitely was'nt quite as good last night, not sure if it was due to girlfriend or dog being all over the bed though. Still had some crazy lucid dreams when I was out. I woke up again feeling pumped and it hasnt gone away all morning. I can feel every muscle in my body, and I must say its pretty cool.
When I look in the mirror I feel like Im noticing a definite leaning in my appearance, but maybe its just mind over matter. I've been crazy horny for the past two days, and quick to get riled up over little things. I keep running through these scenarios in my head where I'm fighting people for the stupid little things they do that normally wouldn't annoy me. Napoleon complex? Oh yeah.

7:30am 45g Whey Protein, Epistane, Saw Palmetto, Grape Seed, Fish Oil

    9:00-10:30am Zero Impact Bar, Celsius

12:30pm Turkey Burger(No bun), Root Vegetable Salad, Alive Multi, Milk Thistle

It's ok, please forgive me. I thought you were pulsing. Milk thistle is fine. I don't have any profound insight neccessarily but I guess I was thinking more of pulsing than an ED cycle where the active is constantly in your bloodstream. I guess too that Milk Thistle is more of a protectant than a cleanser. SAMe or NAC are more intense cleansers from what I understand.

    Carry on

    To complete yesterday...

3:00pm Turkey burger (no bun), vegetable root salad

5:30pm 4 Eggs, 3 pieces turkey bacon, 2 pieces weat toast w/ apple butter

8:00pm Sandwich, wheat bread, 8 slices heart helathy chicken, provolone

    Pre bed Glutamine, CalMagZinc

Felt good all the way to bedtime. Slept amazingly well again with them crazy dreams.

Woke up this morning and just was'nt feeling "it" the way I have been for the past few days. I was definitely dissapointed and it may have influenced the following workout. Im up no weight so far either, BTW.

7:30am Epistane, milk thistle, fish oil, saw palmetto, grape seed

    8:00am 45g whey, 200mg caffeine

    Gym (Last Set Only)

Seated Military Press 135x2 (thanks for the spot Danny)
-Sideline- Above is a new PR for me on Military press, but it has been awhile since I've done seated
    Oly. Barbell Up Row 95x6
    Arnolds 55x4
    Shrugs 315x15
    Lateral Raise 25x8 (strict form)

At this point in time I was getting really f'ing pissed that I was'nt lifting anymore than I usually do. I talked to a guy who said it'll be a week and a half before srength gains kick in so Im trying to keep that in mind. Its also been a week without creatine now since I am cycling off that to regain sensitivity for PCT. Overall not a good day for me mentally.
I was considering bumping up my dosage today but I see myself pushing it up continuously until I OD on Epistane (if this happens Jarrad, the store is yours).

Post workout 45g whey protein, glucosamine, CoQ10, and a pear

    FTW TBC...

So I ramped it up. Im impatient, but I can definitively say that the second pill for the day brought back that warm fuzzy feeling I've had for the past 2 days. Im going to go ahead and stay at 3 for 2 weeks and then determine wether I should go up from there. Im wondering what type of emotional crash will come at the end of this?
I also had a really hard time eating today, I have had no appetite whatsoever. Has anyone else experienced this?

    12:00pm Muscle Milk

2:00pm Epistane, MT, SP, Taurine, GS, peanut butter

2:30pm Turkey Burger (Whole wheat english muffin for bun, w/ provolone.

4:30pm Heart healthy chicken breast on wheat bread

7:00pm Half a chicken, Mashed potatos, macaroni and cheese

8:00pm Epi and all support supps

10:15pm 2 rice cakes with peanut butter

Pre bed 45g protein, Cal Mag Zinc

Felt sluggish pretty much all afternoon. Sluggish and horny. I hope I have a good leg workout on turkey day, since it will be opportune bulking time.

Okay so I went to the gym to do legs, but my leg wouldn't cooperate. My left leg felt tight at 135, so I stretched it out and loaded up 225. I only got 5 reps out before my quad totally cramped up. Im not sure what's going on there but I decided I was already there so I did back and bi's.

    7:30am Epi, 45g protein, 250mg caffeine

    8:00am Gym (last sets)

    Barbell Row 195x6
Machine High Row 230x8, did single arm x 4 after fatigue
    Close Grip Row 125x15
Wide Behind Head Pldwn 125x8 to Underhand pulldown 125x4
Ez Curl 85x6, alternated wide/close grip
    Machine High Curl 65x12
Hammer Curl 45x5, to English Curls 20x12

I hit calves throughout my workout as I have been adding them into almost every workout to encourage growth.

    Seated Raise 135x20 4 sets
    45 Degree Calf Press 630x 15 4 sets

    Incline Situps

I can say that I felt really strong today in the gym. Almost everything I did was some form of superset. I couldn't get enough and would definitely have stayed for another 30 minutes if it wasn't Thanksgiving.

    9:30am 45g Whey Protein

11:00am Milk thistle, artichoke, grape seed, coq10, multi, saw palmetto

11:15am 4 eggs, 2 pieces bacon, 2 pieces wheat toast with apple butter,

BTW my weight was down today to 153.6

    TBC
    12oz. milk

    Day6

    7:30am Epi

    7:45am 45g whey, 250mg caffeine, half a banana

    8:00am gym (Last Set)

    Incline Bench 165x2, 155x4, 135x5 Trip set
    Flat Dumbbell 85x3, 70x5 suped
    Flys (Incline to flat) 40x12

Again, I felt realllllly good today. The pumps were great and my endurance is through the roof. I'm expecting my strength to match my endurance by sunday if everything continues as planned. 3 is definitely the sweet spot on the epi. Other than that I have been having mood swings of sorts as the bloodstream levels peak and decline. My appetite is definitely down and eating is a challenge, but I weighed 156 this AM, probably due to the thanksgiving dump I havent taken yet.

Might want to get some taurine in there for the cramps, as Epi is "said" (who really knows???) to dry you out. Also make sure your at least getting 3-4 L's of H20. I had pretty bad cramps, but mine were in my back, jaw and neck go figure???
Why dont you make like a tree---and get the f#*@k out of here!

    Results!!!

Thanks SB. Honestly Taurine is one of my support supps that I take with every dosage, I just havent been posting it for some reason.

So I decided to work out today, thank god I did.

    Quick rundown

    Epi, support supps

Another Turkey, stuffing, green beans, and corn, meal

Pre workout - ON's new nitric formula given to me by a ridiculously hot figure model for them that did a demo in my store today.

    Gym (last set only)

    Squats 315x2, 225x5, 135x8 superset
    St Leg Dead 195x6
    Leg Press 630x5, 540x5, 450x5 superset
    Good mornings 95x6
    Front Squat 185x4
    Freeweight leg ext. 100x6
    Leg Curls freewight 45x5
    Calves full stack x 15

I mean, I blew my old max on squat (which i last achieved a year ago) out of the water, and still felt strong. The strength is on annnnd I was up to 157.4 today. 3 pounds so far. I feel great, and I never want to stop taking Epi. In my dreams....

    Getting Hyooge.....But No, Seriously

No post yesterday, I have a close family member in the last stages of a battle with cancer and it took precedence. I will keep working out and posting because without the gym I would go crazy.

Brief synopsis of Sunday. Ate alot. Rested.

    Monday

    7:15am Epistane, Muscle Milk

    7:30am ON Vaso

    8:00am Gym (last set)

    Dumbbell Shoulder Press 65x5
    Dumbbell Lat Raise 30x10
    Upright Row 95x8
    Behind Head Smith Press 105x5
    Bent Lateral Raise 15x10
    Dumb Shrug 100x16
Bar Shrug 225x19 (behind), 225x20 (front)

Again, I felt strong this morning. Unfortunately I felt stronger in my head than in my body at some points so I didnt set any PR's besides the Dumb press. I would say that the good mood factor has work off some, and I dont feel nearly as "up" as I did in the beginning.

My weight is up to 159.5 this AM though, which is 5 lbs in about 10 days.

Post workout- Potatos, London Broil, Whey protein, Glucosamine, Multi
