I am openly gay at my school, and the majority of people are cool with it. Now on Friday a Playboy was passed around the locker room, and a small group had gathered near me and another guy, so its basically right in my face. Should I have looked at it with the other guys like its no big deal; or look offended to let them know this is inappropriate to do literally right in front of me?

They were not putting it near me to make a statement, just because thats where it ended up. Can a gay guy still admit to a nice female form when he sees one, or no? Ive never come across something like this happening before lol.

I dont see what the problem is... If you found the women attractive then you can say there attractive. If you found it inaproriate then you could easily ignore it...

Thats basically what I was asking. Being inclined towards men I dont care to see naked women, I am well aware that many guys enjoy this so I keep my mouth shut when they are talking about women in a sexual way.....................when the conversation becomes overly descriptive I walk away.
I just wished they wouldnt have ogled over her right in front of me, I saw that as not having respect for my gayness but said nothing, and am glad I didnt.

But I find it hilarious that we're talking about:

A. A playboy (nothing hardcore, just showing the female form)
B. A locker-room (nothing hardcore, but you're probably going to see a naked man)

Now is it worse that you have to see the naked female form of one woman or that they have to look at a bunch of weiners?

I think it would be different if they were looking at hardcore porn.

I don't see anything different between them having to be in a locker room where men are nude and you seeing a nude woman.

Well I can see the majority dont side with me. Thats okay I just wanted honest opinions. Maybe I did overreact and should of said a humourous comment like someone mentioned.
I just got annoyed because if I had brought a gay male adult magazine in to show the gay guys it would come to blows(meaning a fistfight). I know I am outnumbered so having had to be exposed to a nude female may be one of the few downsides to a predominantly heterosexual gym locker room. :/ Im not fightiong it, just tryign to accept it.

Being a gay gentleman myself I know how you feel. Lol I remember when Brokeback came out, people were complaining, disrespectign and some flat out irate about the gay love scene. Now take a move like the 40 Year Old Virgin and all the naked women and strong hetero sex shoved into our faces and it seems alright then. I can hardly see a movie nowadays without a topless female.....ridiculous. But once its guy/guy, even only a kiss, thats wrong?
I know most like the female nudity its just frustrating the double standard and ignorance about it all. I try not to let it get to me but sometimes it does.
