Day 1 and background

A little background on myself:

I have never used any supp stronger than creatine to date and hope SD will give me the boost I have sought for years.

Starting Weight: 160
1 rep Max Bench:190
Max Squat:250
Max Dead: 250
Max Bent over Row: 180
Max Stand mil press: 130

My goals to the end of the year are Bench- 250-300 Squat 350-400 Dead 400-450, Bent O Row 280-320 Mil press 180-200

Supplements to be taken:
SD
flax seed oil
milk thistle
Glucosamine Chondriotine
Multi Vita and Vita C
Whey Protien
Rebound XT- PCT w. milk thistle
Left over L- Glutamine

I will be going on BSN mass stack during PCT( No ex and Cell mass only)

SD 4 week cycle 20mgs to 30 if I need it.


I started taking 10mgs of SD previous Sat and Sun to get it into my system. I felt a little twinge in my back on Sun for about 10 min but it went away.
You should know I took the week before last off to get my joints and tennis elbow healed up so I could be at 100% for this cycle. I only hit legs and arms last week due to circumstances out of my control and swear that won't happen again. The muscles that did get hit last week were pretty sore comming into the weekend and the SD seemed to make them really harden up.

Day:1
Its monday and have decided to to do this on a 5x5 pyramid training cycle. Its chest day. I took 20mgs of SD today becuase I heard 10 won't do it. I walked into my schools gym at 1:00pm and found it to be packed wall to wall. Go figure since its the first day before school. I tryed working in on one of the bench presses but these guys are working out in a group. I can't deal with this! I know when classes start I can get in here and have it all to myself. Fortunatly for me I have a bench in my garage! So I head out for home. I quit smoking this week and the SD really seems to help supress the urge to go get somemore. So I get to my garage and rack up 135 for a warmup, no prob. 5x5 all the way to 175 for 2 sets. I feel a little weak compared to normal. I'm sure its from the crappy diet from the last two weeks and my sore triceps that haven't quite healed. I go to incline and do 4 sets of 135x8. This felt weak to. I'm sure it has something to do with me not seriously benching for 3 weeks. I think I'm going to go back to my old warm up of db presses and flyes in the gym and then I'll come home and do my 5x5s. I have heard that SD really takes the better part of a week to see results so we will check that. My weight now is 163. I have been drinking water and eating like crazy since this weekend.

I'm doing a mon-fri 5 day straight split off on weekends. Tommorow is back day, MY FAVORITE!!!

Hey man good luck on your cycle.

You said you had some back twinges, Taking Taurine or Potassium helps this.

You only posted your goal lifts for the end of the cycle so I suppose you are aiming for mainly strength gains on this cycle ? If not what weight gains are you aiming for ?

For pct as in every sd thread on the boards, I'd recommend Nolva over any atd but from the recent logs and reviews, alot of people are keeping gains with an atd, like rebound or novedex.

Good luck on the cycle. I'll be following the log.

Edit: I noticed you aren't taking anything for bloodpressure or cholesterol. I'd recommend taking Hawthorn berry or red yeast rice, or maybe both.

My weight goals are a lean 180lbs to keep. Now Im 163 at 10% BF.
I do have 1000ml of liquid novla but I really only want to use it if I get symptoms of gyno which I doubt will happen since Im not prone to it.

Well yea that'd be good. If you didn't want to do it for your entire pct you could just use it for a few days like some users do.

Btw I think 180 will be a good goal for you, probably attainable if you really eat and train hard.

I meant 100ml, lol.
I awoke early this morning b/c of a rainstorm we are having down here. I felt that all the muscles I have worked recently are much firmer than usual. I can't wait to hit my back today!

Diet

I wanted to go ahead and post my diet while Im at it.

I eat 4 tuna fish sandwhiches a day/ easy to eat at work and school
I also carry around a jar of peanut butter to snack on too.
When I come home from the gym I stop by Wendys and reward my hard workouts with a triple cheese burger. . .mmmmm I have a whey chocolate protein shake in the morning and one before I go to work in the afternoon. I work out around 1-2pm.For dinner it usually is something with chicken in it. I still drop by my moms house and have dinner with her. You guys know how it is being a broke ass college student, still have to mooch. I also drink well over a gallon of water a day. This SD reallllyyyy makes me thirsty! I go ahead and eat more peanuts while snacking at home. All this diet fits into the 40/40/20 plan. The protein is about 240-260gs a day, the carbs are a little lower than that since I eat whole wheat bread but I only intake complex carbs. I think this should get me bulking pretty good but I might need to eat more cottage cheese w/pinapples or sumthing.

Well I was wondering when this stuff was going to kick in. Its official now!!!
My back day was absolutely the best experience I've ever had in the gym!

I started with wide grip cable pull downs.

Now that my lats are warmed up on to Bent Over BB rows

Next came seated cable rows. I felt so good I decided to go 5x5 drop set on this too!

I was working in with this big guy whose on staff and we were showing one of the newbs how to do proper form and the big guy stepped in to grab my 180 row setting. Lets just say he did it but you could see the pain in his face, plus he outweighs me by 60lbs. He got up and grabbed his back,lol. Im thinking SD would fix that right up,lol!

Next come the almighty deads, OOOHHHH!
This other guy is doing them in the corner with a work set of 235lbs. I ask if I can work in so we get to it. I noticed he was wearing a weight belt. He aksed me if I wanted it but passed. He gave me a long lecture about protecting my spine, but I think it cheats you out of a good lower back workout if u use it. I told him that and he says its for hams. I said its also for those two rods down your lower back too, if I want to work hams I'll do ATG squats which comes on Friday.

235lbs 5x5 all the way! previous best 5x5 at 225!!!

Finished up with some over lat extensions for a cool down.

This has been the best workout of my life. Hope it keeps comming!!!

Just weighed myself at 165.5! 4-5 1/2 lbs since this weekend. Even at my heaviest it was only 162 and I just took a wizz beforehand.

Today was shoulders.

I started with BB shrugs

Nothing special here but Im really trying to focus on form.

Then came my major lifts of Standing military bb press

Today wasn't as dramtic as yesterday, but everything was really solid and my major compound lifts got more repetitions than ever before. I will defintely try to go up in weight next week.

I just took a look at suttercane's log and noticed he was having flu like symptoms. For the record this stuff has been in my system for 5-6 days now and I have nothing bad to report except it takes me a little longer to climax (Which my girl doesn't mind). The feeling I get the next day after a workout in the muscle group is a distinct hardening of the area. My muscles feel like solid rock and I'm starting to look like it to!

Today was legs

Started with BB back squats

225x5 lost my strength on 5th rep and dropped to the floor/ pulled my back b/c some idiot moved the safety bar down to the bottom setting!

Day 6

This is my first off day from lifting. I have had a hard time sleeping the last few days but I forced myself to get 10-11hrs last night to make up for it. My back pull that I got yesterday squating was pretty stiff this morning but I took 2 advils and really helped the stiffness.

I weighed in today at 168.5lbs. I am gaining a pound a day everyday. I'm wondering when the gains are going to taper because I'm worried about stretch marks. I mean if I gain 1lb for every day im on SD, thats 28lbs in 4 weeks. I really didn't want that much. I'm hoping my diet will limit my gains to about 180 b/c I have my diet right were I want. Obviosly the SD and my diet are working. I just didn't expect this stuff to be this effective.

Day 7

2nd day of recovery

My back pull is healing up nicely, I think the SD is helping with that. I have been experiencing some sporadic hard-ons this weekend. I'm not even thinking about sex and bam its there like a stone dick.

Be sure to go get your bloodwork done. Get a heptoxicity and HDL/LDL check when you are done. That stuff is tough on the body.

This really sucked! This was where I was maxed before. I think my rotator cuff is holding my bench back. So I did some standing external rotations using 12lbs. I hope this helps or my pressing movements aren't going anywhere!

looks like ur doing great... 2 bad im only 21 and i think im a little too young to try SD... id kill for an extra 10lbs of mucle right now.. but i cant even risk takeing SD because im going into police...and the legal status of SD right now is an unkown in canada..and can change at any time!

Not tryin to take anything away from you, but you are suppose to weigh yourself first thing in the morning. When I was towards the end of my Ergomax cycle, I weighed myself in the late evening and I weighed 185 lbs, as opposed to 178 pounds in the morning. The obvious reason for this, is because in the late evening, I had already had 5-6 meals in me, and I had drank close to 2 gallons of water. I had all this food and water in me, hence the 7 pound difference in weight from first thing upon waking to the later in the day. Just some advice, though.
