What is the Best Casein brand protein to use??

Hey guys, what do u think is the best Casein brand to use these days? I am trying to find a good brand to purchase and use along with whey protein, but not sure what brand to buy or which is better and more effective. Thanks.

For a whey protein go with BSL isolate, GF Pro,Substance WPI

I have also heard that Optimum Nutrition has a good Casein product. Just trying to get some ideas who might have a better brand to use or more effective after a workout for muscle recovery and not have much of a fst muscle breakdown. Thanks

Optimum's Casein is pretty good, I use it and have had great results with it. Never tried the stuff Six Pack refers too but I think I'll give it a shot this time around for some variety. Also, for after your workouts, casein is fine but your better off with whey for fast absorption so your hungry muscles get what they need. Remember you just beat the hell out of your muscles or we can at least assume that you have and they are going to need nutrition quick. Whey is fast acting where as Casein is a slow digesting protein best taken before bedtime or eat some cottage cheese. Something to think about.

personally, my favorite is xtreme formulations ultra peptide. good price, good taste, and quality.
i tried vpx micellean and bsn desert protein and did not like the taste.

i know if you go to BSL's website, they have a pure Micellar Casein 2lb for 17 bux. i dont know why bb.com doesnt sell it, considering they sell other bsl products.

Just look for it in the form Micellar Casein.

i tried Optimum Nutrtion 100% Caesin and didnt like it at all. Then I picked up some XF Ultra Peptide chocolate and loved it. Both are about the same price for the amount of servings. Check it out.

Uh, no, Dorian Yates Propeptide comes very close, if not ahead. Look at what they flavor UltraPeptide with. Ultrapeptide tastes nasty compared to Propeptide also.

I have tried both and UP IMO taste better both are quality proteins but UP is a better price, u only get 14 servings in Propeptide

From everything I've tried I'd have to say XF Ultra Peptides chocolate, athough I have not tried Pro Peptides.
