    20-Hydroxy-Ecdysterone

20-Hydroxy-Ecdysterone I undestand where this comes from and how it works, but will it test me positive for a steroids urine test?

I'm interested in trying Kemistry's Dragon Stone powder, in case anybody was wondering.

No reason it should make you fail a urine. It's not a test booster or anything.

You'll have tons of ppl tell you that ecdy sucks but I'm not one of them. I have had great results over the years with ecdy and/or methoxy. The amount in StoneDragon, however, won't provide much benefit IMO. They don't tell you how much is actually in it. It's a blend totaling 18.5g but it also includes a ton of other things. Ecdy works best in divided doses about 3-4 a day. If you want good results go with ebol & M-Stak together or stack Isostak by Universal with M-Stak. It's HUGELY important to understand what ecdy does and without a good amount of protein (I recommend 1.5g per lb of bw) while on it, you'll see limited results. Don't be afraid to eat while taking it. You've got zero bf, so use these compounds to gain size via their nutrition partitioning.

Ecdysterone works on plants, not humans. Any results you will get from it is called placebo.

Read up on the supplement, there's no study, science, evidence or facts that say it works on humans. All you will find are theories by supplements companies and placebo effect users.

    It works quite well actually.

In fact I have a kilogram of the 95% stashed at my house.

It is fan-effing-tastic as an adaptogen/normalizer.

How? As far as I know it's useless in humans, maybe you have some new study to show me that says otherwise?

A lack of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Just because there are no scientific studies to show that it works, that doesn't mean it doesn't work.

I've played around with Ecdy to know that it does work to a point.

Quite frankly, I will be equally content if other people don't learn about Ecdy's effects, I will gladly use it myself and give myself an advantage.

Edit- I remember specifically saying that it works as an adaptogen.

There are on the other hand studies and "evidence" that says it doesnt work.

Based on the results of this study, we conclude that supplementation of methoxyisoflavone, ecdysterone, and/or sulfo-polysaccharides (CSP3) do not have any affect on training adaptations and/or anabolic/catabolic status in resistance-trained subjects. These findings contrast marketed claims that these nutrients promote muscle accretion, increase anabolic status, decrease adipose tissue,and/or enhance training adaptations in resistance-trained athletes.

Effects of Methoxyisoflavone, Ecdysterone, and Sulfo-Polysaccharide Supplementation on Training Adaptations in Resistance-Trained Males.

I am content with my placebo then

Is this a randomized, double blind, placebo controlled study?

    Read the study here http://www.sportsnutritionsociety.or...2-19-27-06.pdf

I read a lot of studies, I have to when I'm in the business of selling supplements. I used to think glutamine was good for me in many different ways, but most for its effect as an anticatabolic and an immune booster. Now I realise I've only been wasting money.

... if you are in the business of selling supplements... then you should really focus on selling the damned supplements.

If there is a demand for glutamine, regardless of whether it works or not, then you sell that ****.

I am in business myself, really it all just goes down to marketing, pricing, supply and demand in the end.

EDIT- Anyways, this study looks legit however I cannot doubt what I have experienced for myself. I will observe the effects more thoroughly next time.

Yes, I sell them all, but I dont recommend the products that I belive will not work. That's just bad for business, if a costumer buys something that will not work, well, they wont buy from me again.

If someone wants to use supplements that I belive dosen't work, then its their call, not mine.

I recommend products that work, I dont want to make money ripping people of. That is just not my style.

I'm not saying that's your style either, but there's a lot of companies that recommends products that wont do ****, and I dont like it.

I think you have to take into account that supplements don't always work the same for everyone.

Personally, I like Kre-alkalyn, apparently people that "know their ****" on these boards think it's absolute horse crap.

I know, but I can't recommend products the can't be backed up by facts or evidence.

Kre-Alkalyn works as far as I know, but if it works better than Creapure, that is the question.

As far as a steroids test is concerned, I would suggest saving 2 or 3 pills from each bottle so that if you do pop positive, you can hand the pills over to the testing commission.

I have yet to read anything about the metabolization of ecdysterone, and I'm not a chemist, so I can't tell you whether ecdy shares metabolites with banned substances or not.

Ecdy will not test positive. If you should get a positive test, well then the manufacturers have slipped some other ingredients in the product.
