Am i having enough protein a day?
So my protein intake not including my solid food i eat through out the day is about 120g of protein. Is it enough for someone who weighs 157?

Too low... For cutting, I would aim for 1.5 grams per bodyweight. For bulking I would up that to 2g/bodyweight.

I am no master of the macronutrient ratios, but I'd say you need more protein, especially for a cut, when the goal is to lose body fat and maintain muscle.

wow holy crap. I had no idea it was 2x/per bodyweight if i was trying to gain. No wonder i'm having a hard time gaining weight. I'm already taking 6 servings of my protein supplement 3x per day in the morning, after i workout, and then before i hit the sack. any ideas guys? need to gain more mass!

2g/bodyweight is subjective, but it's the advice most real bodybuilders, not the skinny ectos, have suggested that.

But you said "not including real food"??? That could be 150g of protein by itself.
So you mean you are supplementing 120g of protein through whey shakes etc?
If so you should count your macros including everything you eat and see where you stand because otherwise you're aiming in the dark.

alright, thanks.
Haven't actually counted by food because it's always constantly changing. I'll give it a shot though. Thanks for all the replies.
