Absurd prices on supplements in my country...and yours?
Wish it was more accessible the prices of supplements here...just bought some Labrada protein for Usd 110.00 (after currency conversion). Is there any interest of Sup. Co. developing overseas market?

how much is "some"? Protein prices have gone up, but they arent outrageous quite yet. I know a lot of people outside the US get the short end of the stick, like canadians have to pay a lot more including shipping charges and wait for them to get through their dreaded customs department.

From a local B+M ?30 ($60ish) is high end of a 5lb tub.
Normally, hittin bb.com + 7-14day shipping (no customs + vat) is cheap, just long :P

So true, here everything is much more expensive as well, like a tub of Size on, it costs a whopping 84 euro's (or converted to US dollars; 121 dollars), the choices are also far more limited and at the border they have the nasty habit of needing to control almost everything that is shipped from the USA

bb has on the info about shipping some usefull stuff i think you will pay the tax from the conversion like the usa have one tax rate like for example in portugal our tax is 21% and if in the usa its 19% for example you will pay the diference 2% at least thats how i think things should work.
usualy the customs contact you or even bb.com if the products get retained you have to go to the tax office and pay the tax so you can get the products.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/help/illegal.htm show the illegal products that some countrys dont accept

I have had a few things sent to germany with no problems. For example creatine, superpump250, shock therapy+storm, white flood... i.e. nothing too controversial.
I think it depends on the value of the order as to whether you pay taxes eg > 50 Euro. And i avoid using courier because everything seems to be inspected more thoroughly - package values at least and they will collect whatever tax they can. Use standard airmail when possible.

For protein yes, but for all other stuff which generally is imported from the US anyway, we pay through the roof for it here. There are very little alternatives here except for multi-vit's, some creatine etc.

Sorry to say it but i would be pretty sure you will have to pay taxes. It should still work out cheaper than buying it locally - if you could buy it at all.

Mos def...If I tried to fedex it, customs can inspect it and apply taxes. Its sad but it is how it works. So essentially us foreigners can not try all the goodies there!!!

Here it's pretty much a guess as to when they open your package a friend ordered hyperdrol X2 from the States a few weeks ago and it got stopped at the border, he got a note from the police in his mailbox and had to pay a fine (or appear in court if he didn't) for illegal traffic, my package however reached me just fine. So I guess they just check some packages, but not all or at least not as thoroughly
And yeah the taxes are just outrageous, I guess it's someyhing in the range of 21% here, have to check it to be sure
also if they check it and open the package but everything is allowed you still have to pay some expences as well as having to endure to wait a bit longer for your package to arrive

90$ for 5lbs ON 100% whey here...
I usually buy from bb.com, even if the prices are close (with shipping), I rather give them my money than the thieves here
