Meet a girl with a constant appetite for sex.
You Beat off.... ok you use your arms, your heart rate hardly goes up. You get no cardio workout, and you don't use any strength....
Sex... builds stamina, gets the blood flowing, keeps your girlfriend in shape as well as yourself, is the ideal substitution for cardio, it's a good work out for your whole body, and you feel better all around afterwards....
If it's that time of the month... then MAYBE you have an excuse. But for the people saying they jack off 5 times a day... I can't even believe you have that much free time.... hahaha

Strickly honest; sex/masturbation leads (at least for me) at least an hour of downtime before lifting any weight. I do not think it hinders your physical abilities any because i lift the same on days when I "do" and "don't" but mentally I can see it having some effect. Alot of folks whether it be right or not, see women as a boost to their bb workout, it pushes them to work harder when they get a simple smile from them etc.. Call it an Ego issue, but after your done having sex/masturbation your urge for a woman of course is somewhat less than it was pre-sex/masturbation. I suppose this could be simple as just putting on a fast song and getting pumped up again not thinking about women. Of course if you workout for something other than women (hint yourself lol) I doubt it would play a big part in hindering yourself. Overall if you got to just do it, and then figure out a way to pump your mind up again if you need to before working out. I have came to realize that bodybuilding is 50/50 body/mind. If i think i cant lift a certain weight ill never be able to lift it no matter how hard i try.

Personally...
I have a girlfriend of 3 years, and if I told her I wouldn't bend her over the couch for some hanky panky because I had just finished an hour of intense training....
wouldn't be good
I'll tell her my lowerback, arms and legs are super sore and tired sometimes though.... that'll get her to be creative. he he

Actually, it has none or little effect on testosterone, in a good way.
It releases endorphine, its when you have the "feel good" feeling. that might raise your testosterone
and for sex, since it "feels better" it might raise it more. probably not much difference but yea...I eat for purpose, not pleasure

good topic, but i don't think it should make any difference. not masturbating because it can reduce test levels (if this is even true) is like not having sex because you dont want to reduce test levels. Forget that!!! Im not gonna put a halt to my sex life so i could possily have slightly more testosterone floating around my body....just my 2 cents though
