fat cycling
When using keto to cut has anyone ever cycled in no fat days where you eat meat only? Seems like a good means to make the body start pulling from bodyfat stores.

I'm doing something like that at the moment, and all I can say is it is not for anyone with a social life. You can eat out on keto, not on this.

So like chicken breast and broccoli for every meal? lol doesn't sound too bad if you do it like two or three days during a two week cycle of keto. And maybe just adding some fat in before a work out kind of like TKD with fat?
I like this idea please go on.....

I tried it after i read Eileens post...which was after breakfast when i had about 20 grams of fat...its a great way to shed fat.....i felt that way..I did not lift or did any cardio .I will experiment eating fat preworkout and carb post work out and see how that will come about...i think it will work like carb cycling

Well since ive just come off a pre contest diet I can take just about anything, im playing around with different ways to eat to gain muscle but maintain leaness. I was just using the anabolic diet but after a little while I can tell that im adding alot more fat then id like and i cant help but think its due to all the sat fat from all this greasy meat and cheese. So im thinking of switching all my fats to healthy sources agin and going on a modified diet of the one i used to get comp ready, but just increase my cals from fat and throw in a couple refeeds a week like the NHE diet. On 2 of my off days I want to eat nothing but weggies and meat and hopefully that can keep the fat off me while I eat a surplus the other 5 days.

Are you trying to cut or bulk?
If cutting then fat cycling works.Recently I upped my fat intake back to all 6 meals....reason being that im doing 1/2 hr cardio per day and was feeling wacked out from just 3 meals with fat.I was advised to leave the fat cycling for when im below 10 percent BF.
My meals only contain 15gms fat each so its not a whole lot.Right now I am off of work for a week and also took this week off from gym.So I am back to 3 meals/no fat.Still doing the 1/2 hr cardio though.
Another way to do fat cycling is to alternate days of pro/veg with pro/fat days.As fatloss plateaus you start cutting the protein/fat days.
Theres this one bodybuilder who reminds me of myself in that he needs to go fat free.So he is on 6 days no fats and one day he adds fat. This is too cut the remaining fat off his body.Hes got cuts in his glutes and thats LEAN!!!
He didnt get to the cutting of pro/fat days till he was up to 2 an 1/2 hrs cardio daily.

Well so far so good, woke up made 5 eggs with only one yolk, for lunch I just had one tyson chicken breast and a cup of broccoli, for dinner Im going to have another tyson chicken breast with 2 cups of broccoli and spinach with a fat free 0 carb dressing. Plus I will have two scoops of whey following my work out. I plan on eating like this till monday and I hope to see some good results from it because I have been straight keto for two weeks now. After monday I plan on going back to keto till thanksgiving then its refeed time bitches! haha

I don't do fat cycling, but I do cal cycling. Basically, I eat 300-400 more cal the day I workout than the day I don't workout.

If your bodybuilding the LAST thing you want is lean muscle loss.So you cut fat out on keto and keep protein high to prevent this.Youll burn your bodyfat for energy. You have mega amounts of stored energy on your body meaning youll be fine.
You can cut fat out completely and youll drop bodyfat like crazy!!You wont lose much muscle if any as long as protein is high.
You will feel like utter ****.Very weak and naseaus....yet everytime you pass a mirror youll look leaner. Its crazy hard but it works fast!!You will feel like utter ****!!!

I don't like the idea of eating high amount of protein, if you're eating 5% carb, <30% fat, you going to have to eat a huge amount of protein (>65%). The reason I do cal cycling is to keep my metabolism up so I don't hit plataeu.

You have to eat a certain amount of protein right? So if your gonna calorie cycle......cycle the fat.Protein should always remain the same and then you cycle your energy source.
