Gaspari's Lean and Fit Stack For Women: My Review
I've been chosen to test Gaspari's Lean 'N Fit Stack for women! This includes Cytolean, Intrapro, and Superpump250. Cytolean is a fat burner, Intrapro is a Whey protein supplement with vitamins and minerals added, and Superpump is a Nitric Oxide supplement.
My main goal is to lose body fat and build muscle. I will be eating for fat loss right now because looking at my pictures... eh! Of course, I am testing these products over the hardest time of the year. More motivation!
My stats are as follows:
Height: 5'2
Weight: 130 lbs
Waist: 27.5"
Bust: 33"
Arm (left): 11.25" relaxed
Thighs: 21.25"
Hips: 34.5"
Pant Size: 4 (US sizing)
Workout Split: I am not going into great detail about my workouts, as I will be posting them later
Sunday
Shoulders, Chest, Triceps + Cardio 30 mins
Monday
I teach a cardio circuit class Monday nights, but I don't count it as 'official' cardio. I am sweating and my HR is up for at least 30 mins of the class.
Tuesday
Legs and abs
Wednesday
Cardio- HIIT or 35 mins mod intensity
Thursday
I have a full day of school and work on Thursdays, so I try to reserve it as an off day!
Friday
Back, Biceps, and Abs
Saturday
Cardio- 45 mins mod intensity with some intervals
As far as sets and reps I am lifting heavy, following Tom Venuto's set up:
9-12 sets per body part for large muscle groups and
6-9 sets per body part for small muscle groups
- I am aiming for 6-12 reps but for legs I use more pylometric moves with a high rep scheme. Once a week I throw in high reps on other body parts too. Sometimes I just get bored. I like to exhaust myself sometimes.
Diet
M1: 1/2c egg whites with 1 whole egg, 1/2c oats, 1 TBSP oat flour- this is a yummy pancake
M2: Chicken wrap on ezk tortilla with spinach leaves, and mustard
M3: Turkey burger with brown rice or sweet potato
M4: Turkey burger, fish, or chicken, brown rice (or ezk bread if I am in a hurry), spinach or broccoli
M5: Whey Shake with 4 oz skim milk
M6: 1/2c Cottage cheese with 1 TBSP PB and splenda (for a sweet treat!)
This is just a sample- some days I will substitute different foods etc. I try to get everything together the night before. By the way- I am a full time student so I pack lunch 4 days a week. This does get tricky...
By the way, I love suggestions! If anyone wants to comment, go right ahead! Just be nice

Pictures
And for the pictures
Front Relaxed: And ahem... excuse the undies. Stripes were a bad idea. Haha
Front Pose: I have no idea what I am doing and I have had no formal training for figure poses (disclaimer)
Back Relaxed: And for the butt shot. I am pretty sure I am sticking out my butt here. I have a booty, but um here it looks accentuated.
Back Pose: Once again... no idea what I am doing.

Just to update everyone- I messed up my pics, so I will be retaking them! Ugh! I am pretty bloaty right about now too (ladies you know what I mean; guys, consider yourselves lucky).
Hopefully the supps will come in today. I thought they would have been here yesterday...
This week's workout schedule will be a little messed up.
Thurs: full body workout with a friend's trainer- he usually kills us.
Friday: Back, biceps
Saturday: I teach pilates class, then I have to drive to Houston right after.
Sunday: Shoulders, Chest, Triceps + cardio

 Makes sense.
I will probably end up attaching them this time around. It will be easier. I am getting my image hosting set up, so next time around (and when the pics get better) I will post them directly in the journal.
I wonder if my supps are in yet. I am at work right now, and an explosion shut down I-35. Traffic is absolutely horrible. Wondering if I should work extra hours...

It is cool getting stuff to log. Before I worked for Gaspari I remember thinking "Wow, a supplement company values my opinion." It was pretty cool.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I was hoping to have extra turkey left over for meals, but we had so many people that we didn't have any left!
Will start back at the gym tomorrow. I am all off from my routine. I got to go horseback riding on Thanksgiving (thank goodness for really cold weather and a stubborn horse! this equals many cals burned!). I also went ice skating today with the cousins.

Chest and Tris
Quick post here. I did chest and tris today, got a really big pump. I haven't started the supplements yet- so when I do, I can't wait to see the results.
Free Motion Pec Flye 25# 15 reps, 30# 8, 8, 6
Tricep Press Down #3+plate 14, 10, 8, 6
Chest press, incline-machine 40# 10, 10, 7, 8
Skull crushers with barbell 30# 10, 8, 8, 7
Supersetted w/ chest press 30# 10, 8, 8, 8,
35 min cardio
Doesn't seem like much, but I am pretty sure it has been awhile since I did chest, so I was exhausted. I need to go by Wally world tonight. I hate going there in the evening. Parents bring their wild kids there like it is a playground or something. The best time to go is in the middle of the day.

So Gaspari sent me 2 bottles of Intrapro, Cytolean, and Superpump in the new flavor- lemon! I have some pictures of everything, since it is like Christmas over here, but I need to get my image hosting set up!
I'll be back to post pictures of everything. I want to workout tomorrow- I normally take Wed off, but now it is right before finals and we are not doing anything in my classes. So I just might skip my morning class and instead, workout.

Tried out the Lemon Burst this morning right before my shoulder workout. It mixed really well with just a spoon- not too clumpy. I didn't have a shaker bottle with me or I would have used that. The lemon flavor tastes good. It isn't like lemonade- it definitely has a kick to it!
I felt pretty energized, despite feeling like crap this morning. Woke up with a dull headache, have a cough, etc. Hopefully this isn't something that will stick around... Not to mention it was just a bad morning. Soooo, this stuff is definitely a mood lifter!
Workout- Also I log weight, then reps per set.
Free Motion Workout 15# 15, 10, 10
BB Shoulder Press 30# 12, 12, 10, 10
Lat raise w/ 10# plates 8, 8, 6, 6 Supersetted with
Front Plate raise- 10# 8, 8, 10, 10
Reverse Flyes- Machine 20# 8, 10, 10
Intrapro
Mixed the Chocolate in skim milk after my workout. Oh my gosh. It is like a milkshake! I needed to finish up my skim milk. The next test will be in water. it is super coco-ey. if that is a word. I mixed it with a spoon and it didn't have too many clumps either. It also ends up kind of thicker, which is nice. I don't like watery shakes.
I will post diet later and include times I took supps.

Well boys and girls, I am feeling good. Actually, I took 2 cytoleans at 3:00 pm. Kind of late, but that is when I remembered about it. Still feel kind of crappy today, and was tired when I took it. Two hours later and I am feeling pretty good. No jitters, or feeling queasy. I feel a little warmer- but who knows-I felt warmer today when I feel asleep for an hour. I will only take 2 today since it is so late in the day. Oh well, now I feel motivated to go to my night class. Ugh. 1 hour drive though.
Also my appetite is like non-existent. You have to remind yourself to eat with this stuff.
On another note- I got my competition heels in! I got the standard 5" Ellie Clear Mules (M-Vanity). Love them! They are motivation to work hard. Right now I really want to drop fat with this stack. I feel like I will be quite small when I shed this bodyfat, but I will worry about that later I guess. I mean, I have till next summer... Hope that is enough time.
My goal right now is to eat clean for fat loss, and lift heavy. Sound good?

Can't see how eating clean and lifting heavy could possibly be a bad thing!
Good luck on your log!
I'm curious to see how you like the IntaPro - I like switching my protein up every once in a while but the last time I ventured away from my favorite couple of brands, I ended up with one that tasted like crap (Nutrabolics Isobolic - gag me...thank God for Vitamin Shoppe's return policy).
Also, have you tried Gaspari's SizeOn? It comes in a lemonade type flavor and I wondered if the Lemon Burst Superpump flavor is comparable to that.

Certainly. You have a decent bicep peak going there. Keep up the good work.

Hey there! I have had two shakes so far and love the Chocolate Intrapro! It has an awesome cocoa flavor.
I haven't had the vanilla flavor yet.
I haven't tried SizeOn. I would guess the superpump flavor would be similar to the sizeon flavor.

Sounds like Intrapro is worth looking into.
x2 on Des' comment - your bicep peak is pretty rockin'!
Thanks for answering my questions and good luck on the rest of the log!
