The problem is Americas general population seems to be looking towards low impact, go to be seen gyms. A lot of people here seem to make Bodybuilding a lifestyle and sometimes they don't mesh.We need more hardcore gyms around, I agree' but it has to make money. The easiest way to do that is get people on a monthly draft and hope they don't use it and forget about it. Where I live there are as many Curves as there are McDonalds it seems. H*ll they even opened some 24 hour all male (gym?) workout room in a strip mall that boasts a 30 min or less workout. All 12 machines are the strap type Cybex. Thats it. It does keep those guys out of my gym, though. Hope this doesn't sound like a rant. I am just saying its tough to make a hardcore gym work.
If more Women would spend as much time working on their ass as they do their hair and make-up the world would be a better place!

not to mention the start up costs to open up a chain of gyms with god-knows how much business its gonna get. it'd have to be super selective on where the most forum members are, and its not easy to open up a gym
i'm taking a business class at school, hoping to one day start up my own gym, its alot of work and TONS of money

bb.com can do a franchise, selling their ideas and brand name worldwide! Many investors would be interested! bb.com don't have to worry about opening gym on their own!
