I've been lurking for a little bit, not too long I guess, and have learned a good bit from a variety of posters.
I'm just wondering who many of you "regulars" consider to be the more knowledgeable people in this forum. Whose advice do you tend to hold in high regard most of the time? Are there posters whose name under the "last post by" immediately makes you click on that thread?
Just wanna get a sense of things. I guess after reading extensively I could get a feel for who does dispense good information on a regular basis (and I do have a few in mind), but like I said, I'm kinda new and I'm just wondering what you all think.

"I like swiss cheese. It's the only cheese you can draw with a pencil and identify. You can draw American cheese, but someone will think it's cheddar. Swiss cheese is the only cheese you can bite and miss. "Hey Mitch - does that sandwich have cheese on it?" "Every now and then!" I got some swiss air on that bite." -Mitch Hedberg

If you've been lurking, I'm sure you'd have realised who the knowledgable ones are. I reckon you're just trying to start a popularity war.
The first rule of cheat club is you do not talk about cheat club. The second rule of cheat club is you DO NOT talk about cheat club. Third rule of cheat cub, someone yells stop!, goes limp, taps out, the cheat is over. Fourth rule, one cheat at a time, fellas. Fifth rule, cheats will go on as long as they have to. And the sixth and final rule, if this is your first night at cheat club, you have to cheat.

No sir, and I'm sorry if that's the way it seemed.
It's just that I am not as caught up on a lot of the more advanced nutrition principles of bodybuilding, and it can be easy to follow someone's advice on here who seems like they might know what they're talking about, but in actuality are completely off base. It's just nice to be able to separate facts from speculation.
I apologize if this thread did come off like that though, it was not my intention.

I wouldn't worry about getting mislead, if I were you. We are all pretty good about correcting each other when need be. Plus, if you read other posts, you start to see trends emerge. If someone seems to be at odds with everyone else, I would seriously question their comments.
That being said, there is a lot of apparently contradicting information for the same reason that there is not one ultimate diet and exercise plan. We all have different goals and abilities in addition to the fact that our physiologies react differently. Ultimately you will have to use trial and error to find the right plan for you.
