Buying drinks for women that are complete strangers makes you a typical desperate/douchebag in their eyes. You can buy them drinks all night, but more than likely they will leave with the alpha guy, or with their gaggle of girlfriends and ignore your beta ass by the end of the night.

No, I've never had it happen to me, but I've observed it happen to many other guys.

Last time I had a woman I did not know ask me to buy her a drink, I told her "No, I don't know you, but you can buy me one."

Then when I get the drink before I hand it to her I say "hey whoa this isn't free, if u wanna share the drink I bought I at least want a kiss first."

It works 99.9% of the time.. Actually I can't think of a time it didn't work when put in that situation.
