    How many people do lunges with DBs?

    I was just curious as to how many people do their lunges with DBs. I've been doing mine with a BB across my back but am thinking of switching to DBs.
    There's only one thing I hate more than working out: being skinny.

    I do those at the end of my leg routine(with dbs), very brutal.I love them.

    I do 'em after my heavy-ass squat sets and they feel pretty good!
    usually do 20-30 strides with them (10-15 reps/leg)

    I do both. If I go heavy I do the barbell variation and if I go light with higher reps I go with dumbells. Try supersetting these with leg extensions!!!

    it is for sure... up to u whether u want that or not tho thats not saying it doesnt work your quads.. but just my understanding is that any squat type movement that involves only one leg takes a lot of quad involvement out and shifts it to glutes, especially with the straight up posture that you do them with.. i know personally i tried them for the first time only about 6months ago with over a year experience doing squats, never had glute DOMS until i did a few sets of lunges

    My glutes are too big for my legs already. Should I not even consider doing lunges then? Even if I don't, squats work my glutes already.
