Time to learn about sex?
At what age did you learn about the "Birds and the Bees" and who did you learn it from? I don't mean loseing your virginity, just how it works. From your parents, your friends, tv, book, mag. etc. Was it the right time emotionally? If you could go back would you have prefered it differently.
If you have kids, or if you have a kid, would you let them find out the same way?
I learned about sex in 5th grade from a friend of a friend, and they got it wrong. I would have prefered it about that time, but in school. They didn't get to it until 9th grade.
Definately not from my parents, I just never felt quite comfortable with that.

My dad's sex talk with me was great. First off I never really saw my dad growing up. I saw him on my 16th birthday, and I guess he thought it was time. He basically said, "When you have sex, make sure you use a condom. You don't want to have a kid at 18 like me."
Two things wrong with this talk:
1)I was the kid that he had a 18.
2)I'd already been having sex for over a year.
