I just joined my gym about a week ago, so I got one free consultation with a personal trainer. While he was measuring my height/weight he said that he noticed my left shoulder is a bit higher than the other. I honestly think this is bs.
Nobody has ever mentioned this to me before, not even my weight training teacher at school, who I have had for just over a year. I'd like to give him a bit more credit than that. My doctor has never mentioned this to me either. I would assume that if one shoulder was higher than the other, then my doctor would mention it.
I'll go ask a few other people what they think, including my doctor.
If they really are uneven, what would the consequences be? And how would I go about correcting it?
I would post a pic, but I don't have a digital camera or scanner.
All serious help is appreciated. Thanks.

x2
One of my shoulders is higher than the other because I have a 12 degree curve in my spine = scoliosis
If it doesn't bother you, then don't worry about it. There aren't really any consequences unless you have severe scoliosis which you would know by now - in which case you get a body brace and all that fun stuff.

Yea, he asked me if I had any shoulder injuries. I haven't really had any injuries period, so it can't be that.
I kind of doubt that it is a serious problem, since I would have know by now, and would have probably been having some pain, but there is nothing.
I suppose it may be a leg imbalance, but it would have to be REALLY huge right? I haven't been lifting for all that long.
I'll go to see my doctor anyway, to be safe. Thanks.
