I won 1st place in 220lb. weight class on deadlifts in my first powerlifting meet yesterday!!! I wanna do another meet now. Also, I got best lifter award for deadlift. So a throphy and plaque to put on my wall. Two awards!! I opened with 475lb. then I got 500lbs. then I missed with 520. 520 got up to my knees and stopped. The competition was APA Southeast Coast Championships 2007 in Georgetown, SC.

I've heard to hang from a pull up bar and then drop the ground, and where ever your feet land that's where your conventional deadlift stance should be...
my stance is somewhat wide too
