That is too vague of a question. Everyone is at different levels of development. What will work wonders for one trainee may set the other trainee back 4-8 weeks due to injury, overtraining both the muscular system as well as the nervous system, etc...
As a HB you need to Maintain Power throughout the season. The most beneficial exercises will include all forms of Olympic style lifts with 30-40% of 1RM loads (move the weight as fast as possible with proper form) as well as Plyo workouts(the exercises here will be determined by the athletes experience, strength levels, Recuperation capacity). During the season you would benefit from performing 2 Strength workouts(1-5 reps) & 2 Power workouts(singles, doubles & triples) per week. Keep them down to 2-4 exercises for the Prime movers , 30-45 minutes in duration, complete rest periods.
Remember you need to maintain the strength you built up in the off season because power is partially dependant on strength.
Enjoy the Journey!!
