    Shoulder Imbalance - Suggestions?

    Folks,

I've got a very pronounced imbalance of my shoulders as you can see in the below photo. I'm not sure if my spine is misaligned or if its a shoulder muscle imbalance. I suspect it may be my spine, because if I raise one of my shoulders, I can make them appear perfectly aligned.

I had this problem when I started lifting 12 months ago. I assumed that it was a muscle imbalance and would be solved by doing independent shoulder exercises, but I haven't seen much improvement.

Anyone seen or experienced anything like this? Any suggestions on exercises I can do to fix it?

    Thanks.

Wow... did you ever break a clavicle as a kid or anything? You might have broken something a long time ago and it never was re-set correctly or something. I think you are right, though. It definitely looks skeletal.

I injured my right rotator a few years ago playing volleyball and didn't rehab it properly. Now I can't throw very far and I can't hit a volleyball anymore. But I'm sure I've never broken anything.

Good point. No one notices mine either. It looks much worse in photos than in person. I guess the same goes for you.
