    Workout for lower pecs

    When i use the close grip bench press, i dont feel the burn in my lower pecs. what is a better workout for this muscle?

    ...what nockowt said. Or decline bench -- I prefer DBs over BB for that, if you have someone to pass you one of your weights.

    I use close grip bench for triceps...maybe think about that muscle when using that exercise intead. It is a great exercise.

    like amanda said, decline DB are a good exercise... also try cable standing flyes - the angle with shoulders low and chest out to reduce the action of triceps, hits lower pec more

    Bump to the above... narrow grip bench will work inner pecs more, not lower pecs... Dips are a great exercise for lower pecs, and when I really want a good burn I superset with decline bench... Also I agree with the dbs for the decline bench, bb decline bench is a VERY restricted ROM, specially if you have short arms and a big chest in front of you (and no I don't mean breasts either)...
