    MsFit...Little help

    My girlfriend wants to start working out. As of right now she is only looking to get more fit. She worries the most about having nice abs, and losing weight in the leg area ( thighs and ass ). She is looking for a good workout schedule and was wondering about supplements. I know what I do and what supps I take and what would be good for a guy. But, I am clueless as to what to tell her. So, I come to you....

    Hi Justin,
    I am not MsFit but i think I'll be able to give you some tips. Usually a combination of cardio and weightraining works best to gain muscle and lose fat. A sample split could look like this :
    Mon ; legs
    tues ; cardio
    wed : back / triceps
    thurs : cardio
    fri : chest / biceps
    sat : cardio
    sun : OFF

    this is my current plan, but everybody is different and you have to see how your body reacts.
    Also NUTRITION !!!! Without eating appropriate, your efforts in the gym might be half as successful.
    i don't know your girlfriends stats or fitnesslevel, but make sure she lifts heavy enough weights to stimulate muscle growth ( muscle burns cals / fat even at rest ).
    Finally there is no such thing as spot reduction ! Butt and thighs are a 'typical woman problem' ( I know first hand )....some good exercises to firm up are good old squats, dummbell lunges and leg curls.

    Hey Justin,
    If you girlfriend want to lose excess bodyfat she needs to take a look at her nutrition and add some cardio. Abs are built in the kitchen. Excess weight in the thigh and glute are can be targeted and burned through cardio, powerwalking, elliptical..... and added light squats, extensions and lunges.

    As for supplements any thermogenic should be sufficient. Cycling the thermogenic as well will be beneficial. Do you know her stats Justin?
