    Red face

I'm not exactly sure man, but why don't you ask a local butcher. I think they make it with different amounts anyways, like lean and normal and whatnot. Next time you go to buy some ask whoever is at the meat counter, they might know.

Nah, you're not borderline retarded... just one of the many people who for some reason are completely inept at using google.

No... that's not what 95/5 means. It means that 5% of the meat is fat, the other 95% is lean meat, not protein. It's actually about 20% protein.

Well, assuming the 5% fat beef is 5% weight, then just take the total weight of the meat, say 1 kg, multiple by .05, and you get 50g of fat.

But I think fat percentages are done in volume.... so you're gonna have to figure out the total volume of the beef. Use liquid displacement

Wrong. 95% ground beef gets 25% of its calories from fat.

80% lean ground beef gets 63% of its calories from fat. In other words 80% ground beef is really almost 2/3 fat. Bad stuff. This is for raw meat.
