Yer gonna make me do it!!
Look peeps, if you're gonna cheat, DO IT WITH STYLE!! You start off at Carrabbas for Calamari, Lobster rav, bread, GLORIOUS BREAD!!, a nice italian salad, bruschetta and maybe a slab of lasagna to wash it all down. Then you hop in the truck (I gots no cars!) and head over to the mall and do some cardio running to GODIVA for some dark chocolate truffles, maybe a dark chocolate dipped apricot and a dark chocolate bar to go!!
There you have it, the perfect cheat plan, it has all the food groups you could ever want, carbs, carbs, carbs and then some fat and damned few greens or anything that resembles what a bodybuilder should be eating!! Guess where I'm heading friday for the first cheat meal in 37 days? If I don't, I WILL EAT EVERYTHING THAT I JUST LISTED AND M WON'T GET **** FOR DINNER!!! And I probably won't feel bad about doing it either, that's the sick and twisted part of this whole thing. Being ketotic for this long really gives you ideas about eating unclean.

You and me both fitty!! I love my steak and eggs for breakfast!! The ONLY good perk of being a keto dieter!
Hey dbflgirl, I'd just be happy with a loaf of bread, the oil and spices!! That would be SO nice!! I'll be there on friday, I will be eating everything I said, minus the chocolate. I got a 75 mile ride on saturday so I don't think those calories will ever see the light of day!!

I love what I eat.
Some of the things that I like, I avoid because they are not good for me. Those things I only eat once or twice per year. (I am thinking of a dark chocolate dessert that probably has syrupy cherries or strawberries on it. Or any kind of cheesecake. Carrot cake would work here too. I have a birthday coming soon. )
Some things I avoid because they are very carb or fat dense. Those I eat twice per week because I need to carb up and restore glycogen levels every few days. (This is definitely a pasta dish or an almost vegetarian pizza. A little bit of crisp bacon is going to find its way into either of these.)
Some things I don't care enough about to bother eating. These are usually undesirable things anyway. (Potatoes, bread, white rice, sugar, most fruits for example.)
Most everything else is fair game for me. Some of that has to be eaten in modest quantities and others are so good for me and calorie-wise they almost don't count.
The bottom line? Some things you shouldn't eat. Other things you can eat, but some of those have to be restricted to yearly, monthy or weekly.
For breakfast I had 3 fried eggs-over-medium and an sourdough English Muffin with butter. Eggs are always cooked in EVOO. I have eggs every morning for breakfast, I love them. The English Muffin and butter needs to be limited. I only have this combo twice per week. (The other days I have a 3 egg omelet with parmesan. Some of those are served with a salsa or a sauce.)
For lunch I had a grilled chicken breast with a homemade tomato sauce. This was served with green beans (with a little butter). It was really good. If anyone wants to know how to grill "juicy" chicken breasts, let me know.
Ok, so the other 4 meals were not so exciting. Some evenings I have an exciting dinner too. Tonight I just had a can of tuna. (Olive oil, red wine vinegar, dijon mustard and a little tobasco sauce.) Not bad, really.
You can eat most anything you want. The question is, how much of it are you going to eat per serving and how often are you going to eat it?

Saving my cheat days...
I have a 7 day Caribbean cruise planned for November. I will cash them in then. LOL
But... I will continue to work out. They have a fitness center on-board. Most bad food stuff I can stay away from but the decadent and delicous stuff is like a drug!Last edited by bigshadow; 08-03-2005 at 07:40 AM.

I traveled to Baton Rouge a few weeks ago, and they know how to cook.
I went to a really nice restaurant and got very fresh sauteed Jumbo Shrimp over a bed of Angel Hair Pasta, with two fried slices of Eggplant, with a bit of some kind of Cajun sauce =xlfoowps,56$&fi85885ndiswn Sorry! I just fell into to trance and face fell on my keyboard, but I'm ok now.
Anyway, best food I've had in a looooong time. Oh - had some nice Pinot Noir with it. It was divine.

At least one wine manufacturer in Israel (Binyamina Winecellars and Distillers) has already begun manufacturing the healthier white wine using the technique developed by Aviram’s lab. The new beverage, which has the same taste, color and aroma of regular white wine, is expected to be sold in the United States by the end of the year, says Aviram.

Butter
Is a MCT, medium chain triglyceride that the body uses for fuel. I use it, almost 2 sticks a week and my cholesterol and triglycerides are very good, actually better this year than last year.
As for the dark chocolate, y'all would have been really in trouble if you knew who I just made moulds for, I'll give you a hint, it begins with a G. If you do eat their chocolates I hope you enjoy them as I'll never do that job again for anything! Damned crossdrilled bastages!!
