It all started on Sunday when I had to go to Super Wal-Mart. They have a McDonald's inside and when I walked past, I got a whiff of french fries. I seriously considered mugging a little kid for some. Now I can't get that aroma out of my brain.

Fried green tomatoes, fried pork ribs, fried squash, fried chicken that was seasoned with Tabasco before battering,,, hmmm

I am so glad I do not work for the restaurant that I used to. I lost 18 LBS within 1 month of leaving there.

The smell of fresh bread is like kryptonite to me

Make a turkey burger with lettuce tomato and onion on it. Its healthier and will help the craving for the McDonald's dog food!

OH, use a wheat or whole grain bun toooooo!

Think about it. Protein, carbs and fat in a healthier way!

I passed up homemade banana pudding with Nila Wafers at a family reunion Saturday. I blew it though, couldn't resist the brocoli casserole or the taco salad. At least I only had one serving of each. But looking back, I wish I had eaten the pudding instead.

That's my problem when I don't have what I want, I eat everything else instead and am still unhappy. And it is really hard to have just a small serving of something you really want. Sigh.

If you do end up at McD's, ask for an All American Meal - its a happy meal without the toy - small burger, small fry, small drink. It's not good but it could easily be worse.
