Dental work to fix gap between teeth.. Whats the cost and process?

I have a small gap between my front two teeth, wanting to get it fixed. What is the cost for the surgery and what exactly is done? Can they fix it in one session or do I have to get braces or anything like that?

lmao at surgery. Get braces or invisalign. If it is as small as you imply than you should have them for 6-9 months.

Not bad at all, just annoying because I want everything to be perfect. It's just a small gap.

Ask your dentist. If you get braces you'll be able to play up the teen angle.

Can you feel veneers, can you notice them in, do they always stay in or do you remove them at night?

They grind your teeth down and fit porcelain teeth over the originals. You can somewhat notice them but like anything you get used to it and no longer notice them after a while.

    They are permanantly fitted.

Its basically what rich people get when their teeth are less than perfect. Its a totally faux smile but no one will ever notice.

If the gap isn't too large, it's a cheap and easy fix.

I had mine done. The dentist just added a bit of material to the side of each tooth, closing the gap. He said the material can start to discolor after 3 years or so and would have to be redone. I'm on my 5th year though, and haven't noticed it.

Total charge ended up being 300, but they ran it through my insurance, and they ended up paying it..........though they shouldn't have, because it was cosmetic.

Looks totally natural, and I'm quite happy with it. If the gap is too big, or your teeth are too wide, it's not an option, as your teeth may look like chicklets.
