    Behind the head pulldowns

What is the deal with behind the head lat pulldowns? It seems as if everybody at my gym is doing them.

do front pull downs instead of behind back. the motion of force generated is much less compared to front pull downs and u can use more weigths.

If you do behind the neck pulldowns, only do them to the top of your ears. It hits rear delts pretty good. Most people at your gym are doing them probably because they think it looks cool, while they have no idea what it actually does.

They are a different exercise than front pulldowns. They really hit the upper lats/teres, and also the traps 2/3/4.

I would've bet a Porsche you'd say that, (although I was expecting shoulder impingement in there somewhere)
