Gaining Weight on Veggie Diet

I know there's a few threads on gaining weight but I'm not sure if there are any specifically on gaining weight as a vegetarian.

I would like to gain about 5-10 lbs.
Should I add morecalories?
More protein?
More carbs?

What is the best and fastest way to do it as a vegetarian?

there's a link to vegetarian weight gain with a sample diet. it was written for guys but i don't see why you can't tweak it to make it work for you. good luck!

What type of vegetarian are you? Lacto-ovo? If you eat dairy and eggs, it'll be no problem. Cottage cheese, milk, eggs, yogurt, cheese, whey, and soy protein are great.

Calories are the most important factor, I use bodyweight x 15 + 20% for daily intake on training days and bodyweight x 15 on off days (I gain fat easily though).
