Shane at the Teen Nationals:
Shane took 2nd in the Middleweight class at the Teen Nationals, weighing in at 173 lbs (at 5'9"), which is 18 lbs more than he competed at last year. Significantly, Shane is 17 and the other 4 trophy winners in the class were all 19.

Anyone have any shots of shane outside the contest area posing... the lighting looks pretty terrible in all the shots i've seen at the nationals so far.

i personaly dont like the kid, but i have to admit he has potential. hes holding water in his midsection though, ive seen him tighter in the INBF show(front row seats) but anyways i have a offtopic question
Do you have to qaulify for the teen nationals, or is it a open teenage competition?

All you have to do is to have competed at a prior NPC event; you don't have to place, just compete.

i'm guessing the guy to the right of him placed 1st? Congrats on your 2nd place, u look absolutely amazing for 17. Keep putting on more weight but definetely get those abs in before next times competetion!

May I ask why? You're already ruining what your signiture says bro. About nice messages. If you don't like him do we need to know about it? Shane you looked great. I think you could have tightened those legs up more but you looked great nonetheless.

Actually the guy on the right placed 3rd and the guy on the left was 1st. I believe Shane himself even said that the guy on the right deserved 2nd over him but either way he had a great showing. And to the guy asking if anyone can enter, it is pretty evident anyone can do it as there has been a guy who has entered two years in a row because he was dared to do it. If you saw a picture he would stand out like a sore thumb but congrats to him for going through with the dare as that would take a lot of guts.

he looks alright, his chest looks to be his best asset. However, im not that impressed seeing how this is "nationals." I feel like i have a good chance up on stage against some of these guys. However, hes only 17, he should fill out good in another 2 years or so.
