Gym Etiquette 101

I really do think they should hand out a Gym Etiquette Manual when people join a gym. *Big Time!*

For some of us there are a few frustrations that we run into at the gym.

What rules and guildlines should gyms Implement when it comes down to gym etiquette?

1. Wipe down the equipment after your done.
2. No curls in the squat rack
3. If someone has on earphones.. they probably don't want to talk to you.
4. If asked for a spot, don't be a di*&... take a few seconds and help someone out.

1) Don't grunt and groan when you're lifting puny ass weight just to draw attention to yourself.

2) Don't stand in front of the d-bell weight racks while working out...people NEED to get to the weights...go stand somewhere else.

3) Don't waste my time talking to me while I workout. I am here to workout, not chat like we're in Starbucks.

4) Don't wear jeans in the gym when working out... just looks retarded. Get off your wallet and spend $10 on some sweat pants for christ sakes.

5) If you're utilizing the squat rack, you better be squatting.

6) Do not use a flat bench to sit on and do curls...fuuk, that pisses me off.

7) Unload the barbell when done...don't leave your crap for others to unload.

8) Girls....don't wear your clubbing shirts to the gym to workout in...this is not attractive even if you THINK it is. You're in a gym. A gym is for WORKING OUT...not prancing around hoping some dude's gonna notice your tits. You'll get noticed more if you're wearing appropriate gym attire and lifting some freakin weights and breaking a sweat while doing it!

Fortunately I work out privately with a personal trainer. I'm just starting out, and have found that a good grunt will help me with the last 2-3 reps in a set of "puny ass weights".

But, I can see the distraction if I were in a public gym.

2. people who walk away from a machine and come back 10mins later thinking it's theirs!
3. some guys thinking their work outs are more important then mine cuz I am a girl and they totally interrupt my work out by being so ignorant to me.

I solved that problem by asking one of the gym employees to push me to the bench in a rolling chair.

1)People that put on enough plates so they could do 1 cheating ass half rep, the proceed to walk around the gym like they are going to kill someone.

2. if your in the gym come to w/o then go home dont prance around the gym for 10 min between every set
3. Men shouldnt go up 2 women to tell them they are doin an excercise wrong just to chat them up
4. when squating make sure your ass is facing a wall and away from my face ( in case of protein farts, those things are lethal)
5. i dont want to tell you what supplements i take during a w/o
6. dont stand in the way of the mirror when im doing a set
