Yes,deadlift is for lower back and it hit other body parts too.But always make sure it's soreness not the pain.

Yeah it seems like you use the conventional type deadlift which targets the back more. It's normal to feel sore for 2 days to a full week even. I've normaly stayed sore after an intense DL session for a good 3-5 days but I've been making sure i'm taking my vitamins, fish oil, and half a scoop to a scoop of purple wraath after intense sessions like that. Also going into the sauna and making sure your back is pressed against the wall (for extra warmth on the back) helps right after your workout. I only stayed sore for 1 day bydoing it so far.
