Bodybuilding.com got me in trouble at work.
Apparently my internet usage at work was randomly audited last month.
It reported that I was on forum.bodybuilding.com for 96 hours last month. I only worked 160ish hours last month.
It was probably minimized for the majority of that time.
When my supervisor showed me the paperwork and it said that I couldn't help but think to myself, "good job dave man."
Oh well, I'm quitting to go to boot camp soon anyhow.

ROFL.... Should have just say you always check it first thing in the morning and leave the website minimized for the duration of the day. That's pretty funny though, wish they checked more in depth..... start reading off some MISC threads and stuff. hahah

I'm scared they may have. I kind of got the impression that they didn't like the content of the page either.
A few days ago I nearly started a thread about how much I hate my lazy, obese, cockeyed boss. I'm glad I didn't do that.

hahahha, we would have had a KING CRUSH X2... When he said so much **** about his gym owner and his fat daughter, than the gym owner found and read the content.... Needless to say king crush works out at home now.
If you're leaving this work place soon enough anyway, than fcuk em. Were there any consequences? Sounds like you're good to go, maybe just going to be watched a bit more closely.

Now here's the question...
I'm quitting anyhow. I have to redo my contract with the US Navy, but I'm guessing I'll be gone some time in December.
Should I give the State of California's Franchise Tax Board the middle finger and do nothing but browse teh Misc. for the remainder of my paper-pushing career?

I know man... It's kind of a cool statistic.
I knew it was coming when I sat down to talk with my supervisor. She had a stack of papers to go over with me and the bottom one stuck out a bit. It said "Internet Usage Report" in bold at the top.
It is a little sick, but I almost felt proud.
Come to think of it, I took quite a bit of time off this month. I only really worked 132 hours in October.
That means I spent 74% of my time on teh Misc.
I was probably fapping in the bathroom for that other 26%.

That's what I was trying to tell them at work.
IE7, which we just upgraded to, has tabbed browsing. I have multiple tabs open all day.
The Bureau Director, who is the highest member of management I deal with on a daily basis, said that he's satisfied with my work. He says I "do an excellent job".
I don't understand why they'd throw a bitch fit over something that doesn't even matter. The work is getting done, so **** off.
Today had to be the most boring day ever.
No Misc = Matt not happy

actually it is totally legal. employers have keyloggers on their networks. They do this to make sure you aren't breaking any laws or looking at porn which can get you fired. They are allowed to do this mainly because it is a missuse of company resources. Most companies also have their usage rules and regs and you have to check "I Agree" to log on the first time, this shows that you are aware of thier policies and if you break em you can get fired legitly. The main thing that started all that was people making threats of workplace violence using a company network and people surfing kiddie porn which is against the law if caught.
P.S when you are at work using their networks you don't have any rights to privacy.
