or is doing it now?I was thinking about doing this so i just wanted to know what everyones
opinions are of it.

using the 5x5 program is I think a good base I am on phase 2 week 6 and you arenot supposed to do your max til youre done with the cycle but I went in on last sat put45 # on my deadlift 70#on my squat 20#on my bench I feel quite lucky to put so much on my end total I have had very good luck .one of the biggest things is that it helps increase your workload but that is just my opinion, mark

Ive done the 5x5, it works great for building strength. The one problem i have seen is that people dont trully shock their system each week. For example i had a friend who would stay at the same weight unless he got 20-25. My old weightlifting coach had me go up if i got 15 out of the 25 reps, my muscles got alot stronger then the kid doing 20-25 and i blew by him in weights.
