Save YOUR supplements!!!!!!!!!!
This is to help pass the message of emailing and/or writing Congress regarding the ban of certain, if not all, supplements, vitamins, etc.
PLEASE participate and inform all of your fellow gym rats as well!!
Let's not allow Congress to take away these like they did with prohormones!

My input to Congress:
"Why create a new law that doesn't need to be made? I'm sure you have more important issues to deal with, like getting our boys out of Iraq. Please spend more time on issues that concern the general public rather than the small minority with nothing better to do than disrupt others livelihood.
thank you for your time".
Thank you for contacting your congressperson regarding H.R. 3156!

it is important but u dont need to post three times to get the point across, this whole thing just means more money for the government, just be patient in time good things may happen

I would have to respectfully disagree. Look at what happened to prohormones. We can't afford to be patient and hope for good things to happen, we have to take a serious stand now!!

pro hormones and vitamins are not even compareable, besides superdrol is out and various other things that are the same damn thing, hell you could even get IGF its not even illegal did u know that? besides even if it passed it would still be easy to get them so be patient

I agree we need to get active but no matter what we do, Government will do whatever they please with or without our input...

It's not about comparing prohormones and vitamins and, again, being patient is having the wrong idea. If there was such a ban to take place it would NOT be easy to still get supplements such as vitamins, etc.
Is it easy to get prohormones now?? The majority of people don't want to risk jail time by ordering and/or purchasing illegal products. One of the main reasons prohormones were banned is because of money/politics/pharmaceutical influence yes BUT also because the majority of Americans sat back and did or said nothing!
Let us ditch the patience mentality and do as much as we can now!!!

also how would u know what the majority of people think or want, you have only been on this board for a short term, and ur rep aint the best, besides even with everyone on this board writing to our state senators or represenatives it wont do any good anyways, whatever happens, happens just deal with it quit talking like you know what you are talking about

Common sense should tell you that the majority of people don't want to be caught receiving illegal products in the mail and risk jail time.
Being on this board a short time doesn't make one any less knowledgeable about supplements, exercise, etc. I really don't care about rep power nonsense, I know my posts and threads are valid points and intelligent.
If everyone on the board contacts Congress it will make a difference ESPECIALLY if the word is passed to others who aren't members. I mentioned that when I started the thread.
Why are you being difficult anyway, are you a spoiled brat of a senator looking up to dad??

Yeah, I have to wonder why anyone would come down on altruistic...he's trying to create awareness so our supplements don't get banned, and some *******'s telling him to pipe it down! This attitude is the reason ephedra was illegal, and prohormones are illega, and why Kodax can become a reality.

This **** happens with pro hormones back a long time ago where everyone opposed it but what good did that do? your only a number to the government get used to it as i have. And no my dad is not a senator its bad enough im in the military and have to deal with the **** ever more so then you do. All im saying is wait it out, point blank no more words written. Yes people can keep writing do whatever you like but it doesnt do any good

Okay, so I don't know much about how exactly a bill gets passed, but I just checked at http://thomas.loc.gov/ and searched bill H.R. 3156. It was proposed over a month ago and so far has only 2 co-sponsors in the House... much less support than even the rediculous proposal to re-instate the draft!! Thousands of bills get proposed each year yet VERY few come to the desk for the penstroke of Mr. Bush. I'm not worried in the slightest.
BTW, this is my first post here... I'm 22 and just started a lifting about a month ago. This site is amazing, to say the very least!

You need to be VERY concerned!! The fact and point is that it was proposed/started. Even though thousands of bills get proposed each year it seems that the supplement industries are beginning to be one of the top priorities. We CANNOT afford to sit back and hope this just blows over!! Be an influence in whatever good way one can!

Stop being an IDIOT!! As I mentioned before, the majority of law abiding people DO NOT want to risk jail time by having an illegal product shipped to them or in their possession!! Prohormones are banned therefore they're NOT easy to obtain.
This message is for all the intelligent people who realize that sooner or later Congress IS going to find some excuse to go after our everyday remaining legal supplements.
It's worth a try let them know we, the public, won't stand for it!!
