3 grams of HMB?

I was thinking about this:

Most of the supps of HMB contain 750 mg,and :

"Recently, a study showed in a control group supplementing with HMB, that after taking 3 grams of HMB per day for three weeks..."

So,that means we have to buy 4 tubes of HMB,so that we take 3 grams and it isn´t 3 grams a day even...I might be doing the conversion to grams wrong since 750 mg is 0.75 grams I think.

Only Prolab HMB contains some grams (60) but it´s out of stock.

But is HMB worth the money?

Go with Ultimate Nutrition. They have a 750mg one which is pretty cheap.

I know that Ultimate Nutrition is cheap but to make 3 grams I need to buy 4 boxes of HMB.

I don´t know if i´m converting the numbers right,since in Portugal it´s different from the US.

You are correct, most HMB mfgs only give a maximum dosage of 750mg of HMB. This is way below the level needed to achieve results with this supplement. If you're able to find a manufacturer that sells powder HMB that has like, 1 tblspoon = 5 grams (similar to micronized glutamine) then it would be a good buy probably, otherwise - just pick up some creatine.

well yes but 5gr off hmb every day is expensive+lidlle gains and strengt!
so creatine is cheaper + its the best supp ever made!

i use ultimate nutrion ... for the same potency and caps its about 20$ cheaper than its competitors. its by far the best to go with and it is said you see good results when taken 3-4g of hmb with 5g of creatine. so when you take hmb, take your creatine with it probably post-work out like i do. 4 caps of ultimate nutrition's caps = 3g
