I have gathered that the small meals are important, and that you do need considerable protein and carbs in each meal. I am unsure about fats and how much is appropriate. I would like to keep fat gain to a minimal...if possible. Can you guys kinda stear me in the right direction?

about 20 articles on fats..
most will really tell u comprise ur diet of 20% fats.. get about 5% saturated if you can at all possible and focus the rest on good sources or EFA's
Almonds , Peanut butter, Olive Oil / Flax Oil, Fatty Fish, Cheeses, Lean Cuts of Beef/Steak, Egg Yolks.. there are all good sources right here.. dont forget ur egg yolks also
i tend to keep the fats away from my workouts and leave thsoe for the other meals in my day.. around my workouts i focus on getting a ton of carbs + my decent supply of protein (30g each meal) and keeping fat to a minimum..
some will opt for a bit of fat in ur pre workout meal, but its total preference and whatever works best for each individual those are just my 2 cents
read alan aragon's stick on pre/post workout nutrition.. that might give u a few more tips on some good meals
