remember, fat can always be burnt off later, so STOP SWEATING IT BRO! anyone, here will tell u that, fletch, str8, abdom, big red, all the top dudes will say that, just remember to bulk cleanly and not gain too much fat (keep calories in check, meal timing, lil cardio etc etc)Kill me. I think anyone who lifts hears that stuff. I hear "you are so lucky, you can eat anything and you put on muscle".. not really.. I eat 5-7 times a day and avoid sugars most of the time and eat high protein foods that aren't always the best tasting. I mean you think sometimes we all don't wanna endulge in a big mac and fries. of course cuz it tastes good as hell.
with me its more mental than anything else. I was chubby as a kid and just started shooting up and getting lean about 3 years ago when i was 15. i am bulking now and i am kinda afraid to get fat. i mean i know i could get it off with in like 2 months but mentally it kinda worries me. i am at 5'11 and 185 and aiming for about 200 pounds.. then I wanna reduce the fat and maintain at between 195-200 and be cut.. i am confident i can get there by spring 2003.
H2Polo those are really interesting points and i think we have all heard them at one time or another during Bulking

Tell those people that are making lame comments like that to shove it.
If they're your parents, sit them down and explain to them it has nothing to do with luck and if they talk about putting you on a "diet" (one of those anorexic high-carb, I-only-can-eat-potatoes diets) one more time you might have to get really angry.
BTW: Nope, I've not had that problem with immediate family much. My parents are very understanding people in that manner (well, except for my father) and seem to be completely impressed anytime I put on ANY mass. I have, however, had a problem with my grandfather who seems to think that anything I do is wrong. The other day in front of me he said, "Yeah, I think Daniel is too good of a kid... He must have low testosterone" and literally meant it... grr..... (Maybe if I busted one in his eye he wouldn't have said that hahaha)

My parents make fun of me when I cut, my dad says: "why are you cutting? Your to small, get big" and my mom calls me scrawny. right now I'm 175 at 5'8.5 (7-10 % bf). They try to feed me more, they want me to be 200+ lbs.
weight training is the easiest thing to understand and the hardest to actually implement. - Dr. Ken Leistner
Miracles are attested, but what if they're instead some mix of charlantary, unfamiliar states of consciousness, misapprehensions of natural phenomena, and mental illness? No contemporary religion and no New Age belief seems to me to take sufficient account of the grandeur, magnificence, subtlety and intrcacy of the Universe revealed by science. The fact that so little of the findings of modern science is prefigured in Scripture to my mind casts further doubt on its divine inspiration. - Carl Sagan

That's the way things SHOULD be. They tell you you're too small rather then telling you you're too fat. Even if you know it's off, it's a motivator.

People always say im hella skinny, my cousin who is 200lbs senior football player and im just starting at a freshman. He says i should hella gain weight and ****, he says no one cares about six packs and that if ur skinny like the poor guys in africa u would get one, he says i have no muscle!
ok first off girls luv 6 paks,
second tru a lot ppl tell me im skinny til i flex and they see super ripped cut muscle, i mean seriously my muslce is just hella cut and more cut than anyone elses muscle my age because i keep off the fat! so fuk bulking!
third, begining of football practice i was trying for defensive end, a position bigger guys usually take and one sophmore said what r u doing skinny boy? well i sure showed him when i speeded through his fatass and kncoekd it down. not only this but my six pak and cut muscle allows me to also play running back, not only am i fast but strong.
thats why i say fuk bulking even for football, besides no one cares if ur bench is 300 but u cant see any muscle cuz of all the fat! its fun when u are ripped

your day-to-day diet is easy to watch....i dont put on fat while at home
but sometimes i go out and have beer and pizza etc...and it turns out to be like 2000 calories in one meal....that's what ruins me"If it helps them to justify why I am a pro and they are not, they will believe that I walk around with a blatter pack of test on an I.V. drip all day long" - Lee Priest
